Is their a better current heavyweight counterpuncher than Ortiz right now?...he's going to be countering Wilder, my fear is will Ortiz power hurt him..

I picked Wilder over Povektin when that fight was announced. Yet I have a feeling Ortiz is going to upset Wilder here. I just don't see somebody with as sloppy and basic of an arsenal as Wilder being able to trade with Ortiz without being countered.

    my thoughts to.
i also picked wilder over povetkin
    and ortiz over wilder
as you said and what people are not seeing wilder is a basic fighter.

wilder has 2 go to punches
the flick jab from his hip and the straight right.
he has got away with it bcause of his opposition.

Povetkin would have knocked Wilder out, that's why he was framed, although cleared by VADA, WBC is owned by Haymon...................I don't know about Ortiz, he is very old, but can still punch very hard. Haymon will never have allowed Wilder to get into a ring with him if the fight were not fixed in Wilder's favor..............If Ortiz were to knock Wilder out, Ortiz will be framed although he has been tested many times and is clean, but that makes not difference to the WBC. Wilder has HAYMON BOXING INSURANCE!

If Ortiz was unbeatable, he wouldn't of needed to take Nandrolone or mask whatever else he was taking with Hydrochlorothiazide. He also wouldn't of ducked out of the Ustinov fight and wouldn't of decided to fight Wilder instead of Joshua to win a title.

Ortiz is obviously past his prime, slow, doesn't deal with movement well and can only fight at one pace, so can be outworked. Wilder could beat him, Fury at his best definitely would, Joshua would very likely beat him too.

Difficult to take a video serious, when the author of it is deriving sexual pleasure, making groans after a boxer is landing a punch.

It's pretty sick and creepy how desperate people have become in hoping Ortiz beats Wilder.

I like Ortiz, he is a solid fighter, and he's earned his title shot which has been long overdue. However you need more than feints, a high guard and videos from weirdos making you out to be Muhammad Ali to beat Wilder.
