I have to agree with you.

No one Tyson fought did anything to match the achievements of Luis Ortiz. From turning back the Mongol hordes, to his pivotal role in the naval battle of Lepanto, Ortiz has been a consistent force throughout recorded history. His mighty record is second to none. Old age holds no terror for this Titan of the sport. Bow down before him and humble yourselves, puny mortals.

Oh wait, just checked on Boxrec, looks like Jennings is as good as it gets...

Larry Holmes isn't worthy of holding Luis' jockstrap.

Nah, be realistic. Ortiz is surely a really good win for Wilder, Ortiz is a legit Top 5 HW right now although Wilder did not fight prime Ortiz. Prime Ortiz would have knocked out Wilder badly. But still Ortiz was in great shape for the fight and did not look old and slow, he looked good and will stop probably almost everyone out there outside the Top 5 (Top 5=AJ, Wilder, Ortiz, Povetkin, Parker).

Ortiz for sure is the best W you can have right now (excluding retired fighters like Wlad) as your name is Joshua or Wilder.

Prior to facing Donkey, Old Man River Ortiz had never fought anyone who could punch. Cuban Glass is a thing but I'm afraid the likes of Tony Thompson (and an ancient one at that), Bryant Jennings, and Malik Scott couldn't punch the froth of a cappuccino.

It's a fair point. Ortiz would have given Mike a good fight.

To all the people guffawing, pray tell, which of tysons victories would have "obviously" beaten Ortiz?

Because i think ortiz could beat every one of tysons wins

Spinks was better. Tucker and Ruddock were maybe slightly better, but pretty close. Ortiz was arguably about even with Tyson's better wins.
