I honestly think Macklin is massively overrated on this forum, and it might have a lot to do with all the Brits on here, but you can bet your ass that as soon as Martinez whoops his ass, people are going to dismiss him as another european bum.

I don't rate chavez jr, he did preform decently against rubio though, but if he wasn't going to the fight would never have been made.

This fight should be a unification bout, in any other country Macklin would have became a middleweight champion, but that is how things go. If you are only as good as your last fight which seems to be a theory used alot around here Macklin is a brilliant boxer, and could give martinez problems.

However I don't see either fighter as a challenge for sergio unfortunately,

 

I actually think Macklin will win, he has a great work rate
aswell as being a dangerous combination puncher.
