I was pondering this last night. I think a title of good boy should be reserved for a guy who actually comes to fight and does somewhat well; like Rosado. Macklin for the most part got busted up and rendered very little offense. He looked like he was in a 12 rd fight.

What say you? Macklin a good boy or not?

Macklin has always been game and comes to fight. Give him his due he's left the cosy confines of the UK and has been willing to fight anybody.
He was simply outclassed and outgunned.

Golovkin himself didn't call him a good boy in the post fight interview. Rosado is good boy. JCC Jr is big boy, good boy that should step up and get his beating like man!

While I agree with what you typed here. We are talking about the lofty title of Good Boy. Which essentially, semantically speaking, is much like a "regular" belt. So in the most pure sense, Povetkin is a good boy to Wlad. If this usage is consistent Macklin cannot be a good boy.

hahaha in Russian Maladec means boy but the actual meaning includes strong young man. So it makes sense to call a fighter a good boy in Russian. Obviously not that much in English. But that makes Golo even more likable.
