Mago is a very powerful, slow brute, with zero defense, and he's probably not going to get any better. He'll be KO'd by the first really good counterpuncher he faces.

Jennings, on the other hand, is young & intelligent, fast, & has good skills and reasonable defense. He'll continue to improve.

Brains beats braun, 90% of the time. Just ask Liston. Or Foreman. Or Ortiz.

Mago easily destroys Jennings.

 

This whole Jennings v Mago thing is getting outta hand. Byarm is Magos best win 10fold.
Byarm is Jennings 3rd best win. Mago beat him more convincingly, yes, but Jennings aint a monster puncher.

Collins however is a huge puncher, and Liakovich is a crafty, veteran puncher. Jennings pretty much clowned the last two big punchers he's faced.

Mago v Jennings. Tough to pick. Let's see Mago vs a more solid beard. Let's see him beat a Mo Harris type. Hell, let's see Jennings beat a big man.

It's just too early IMO to be pitting prospect against prospect, especially two of my favorites.:yep

Hold up a sec Vlad.......I may be Mago's first fan on this board. I know Im likely Jennings. However, calling Collins a can......He easily dominated and crushed similar LOC as Mago in just as devastating fashion. And Liakovich.....come one. Imagine Liakovich taking a fight with a 5'7" 8-0 LHW carrying around 55 extra lbs of fat. The guy is a world champ. Hes fought and beat several of the very best fighters in the world. Yeah, he's lost some as well, but a bum or washed up he's not.

And don't bring up the Byarm scorecards. Without the massive power, Mago likely loses that fight since Byarm was beating him handily before he went into the philly shell......what a numbskull....what was he thinking?
