but loved it when khan put him down with a body shot... the delayed reaction was amazing and what was even better was the ****er just got up and seemed ok after 2 rounds. tough guy

 

I was disappointed with Joe Cortez' handling of the fight. Maidana was hitting Khan on almost every break.

 

Didn't you hear Maidanas trainer ? " you want to lose to an englishman !?" mentioned it a few times.

 

He's a badass dick. He tried to point the floor to distract Amir's attention, then he unleashed a long uppercut which fortunately did not find its mark.

 

Maidana is vicious. I can't believe he got up from that body shot.

He is a bad ass but a dirty fighter (more than most).

 

He's a badass who pulled a dick move. I like watching Maidana fight and admire his heart and will, but throwing a haymaker during the opening glove touch is a ***** move no matter how you slice it.

That happened once and the schmuck who did it actually did KO the other guy and put him in the hospital. He was justifiably blackballed afterward. Had Maidana successfully knocked out Khan in similar fashion, I wouldn't watch him fight again.

 

Actually that would of been epic! :rofl I would of been crying tears of joy!!

How he just got up from that devastating bodyshot and just shrugged it off... wow.
