    He's Russian. In Southern Russia, lots of people look a bit Chinese because there was a lot of invasion and immigration from other Asian countries.

    The word "Maidana" means "market square" in Russian.

    True but he's named "Chino", which is Spanish for Chinese, due to his looks. Similar to Daud Yordan who actually is 1/2 Chinese.

    There's a decent sized Chinese population in Argentina

    Maidana may be part-Chinese. Who knows?

    I haven't heard much about the Filipino population in Argentina. Probably very low
