atsch:rofl Jesus Christ. Can a statement ever be more unwarranted at this point in time? I guess this overrated fighter keeps getting lucky huh? Witter, Holt, Peterson, Campbell, Abregu, and Alexander. Some of the best his division had to offer and he beats them easily?
He's not elite like a Pac/May/Martinez/JMM but his style and heart make him a tough fight against anyone P4P.
Exactly. I wouldn't want to fight that guy. I'd much rather go in the ring with a Bradley or a Khan. Maidana is an old-school badass.
This about sums it up. The guy is great fun to watch, and always turns up ready to fight until he ****ing dies. With Maidana's power you can't count him out against anybody, including Bradley. Y'all just being haters.
He's already proven that he has limits. Little pop and a somewhat questionable chin. But he's also shown the heart of a lion and is willing to risk getting hurt to get in his shots. He is what he is. And so far, that has gotten him some very big wins over some of the best in his divsion. And he beat them quite easily. That's saying a lot.
I dont think he's all that overrated. He is what he is, a strong, relentless fighter who will give any guy in his division a very tough fight. In all honesty, I think the only aspect of his game that gets overrated by the majority is his power. He certainly isnt the monster people make him out to be IMO.
He's very good but people finding it laughable that anyone can pick Khan, Maidana etc over him shows me he's over rated by some or other 140 guys are being under-rated.
I've never said it's laughable that no one can beat him. But i would favor him clearly over Maidana. All Maidana has is puncher's chance. Khan would be a 70/30 fight in favor of Bradley. I know Khan has the superior height, reach, power, etc but Bradley has proven time and time again that he can overcome such things.
Bradley is a well-rounded fighter that does everything good. But other than his conditioning and deadly head-butts, there isnt anything spectacular about him. If someone who has never seen him in action, consulted the opinions of the people on ESB before going off to watch a few tapes of him, he/she too would probably think Bradleys being overrated. But this is because, as mentioned, Bradley doesnt do anything spectacular, nor is his style pretty to the eye. In fact, his style is off-putting.
Bradley's also prone to throwing wide looping shots like an amatuer as well. A good boxers gonna come straight down the middle and make him pay for that.
how many Bradley fights have you seen? I'm gonna go ahead and say none. he's easily the most composed counter puncher in the 140lbs division.
