Is Mairis Briedis an ATG Crusierweight? In my opinion he is, he beat Huck, Glowacki, Dorticos, Perez and arguably Usyk in many people’s opinions and that fight could’ve gone either way let’s be honest. And Usyk is unarguably an ATG Crusierweight so Briedis having a fight with him that could’ve gone either way and also his own wins should have him as an ATG Cruiserweight
    What are your thoughts?

I think he is. The last few years has been one of the deepest in the history of the divison. He certainly performed well against Uysk but I thought he clearly lost that fight. Outside of that, he has taken care of business against the very best in his weight class.

I thought he fought brilliantly on Saturday and was impressed with the subtle adjustment he made in the middle rounds which took that right hand away from Dorticos. The guy is a complete fighter that is also tough as nails.

I like him. Kinda hoped he would beat Usyk but that’s the was the dice fell. Yeah he could make the top 10 best cruisers

When a close fight with Usyk is the only blemish on your record coupled with some solid wins then he would certainly make the cut.

Briedis should be rated above Haye.

You could make that argument. He's the clear cut #2 of this era imho.

Yes he probably is. Top five at least. He's a massively skilled fighter with a lot of HW power and a great fighting brain. Looks like he has a lot of dog in him as well.

In a not so old and sort of fly over division I'd say yes

I'd like to see him rematch glowacki at some point though

Yes, I don't see how it can be otherwise!
