It doesn't take a genius to fix some of Wilder's problems, but it takes a special kind of weasel to slither up his arse.
Maybe he has a better relation with Wilder and manages to teach him something he wasn't able to do, nor was willing to. But considering the reason Wilder changed the trainer and how he generally approaches the sport, even if Malik is good might be insufficient.
The way Wilder got rid of Breland tells you he wants nothing but a yes man in his corner now. Scott is there for motivation until he proves me wrong. Wilder is more or less self trained now.
Scott seems to have been able to remind Wilder to get back to his jab more. There was a period when Wilder was looking to utilize his jab more and more but he then regressed. He just uses his lead hand to set up the right, instead of using an active lead hand and a jab to control his opponents and to do more than just set up the big right hand.
I believe you need people like Malik in your life, but the problem is, Wilder only wants people who are like him, yes man and none of other type. Which is why, he will be checked for reality again
I like Scott and hate The Dosser. But Scott is one of those people who sounds like he's talking a load of bollocks even when he isn't
This right here, he ran off one of the greatest amateurs ever, and a quality pro who held the same stature advantages that Wilder holds over most of his. Breland was perfect to teach Wilder (if he chose to listen). Wilder has an abundance of hubris. Scott is letting his hubris flourish.
Deontay Wilder is the fittest fighter in the division. Never out of shape. Even as he approaches 40. And for all the hand wringing, who hired Mark Breland as their new trainer? Oh, right, nobody.
Wilder is good for Malik Scott. It's a meal ticket and nothing more for him. Scott is smarter than people give him credit for.
Scott is careful with what he says as to not **** off his delusional meal ticket, while also trying to avoid to sounding like too much of an idiot to the boxing public. This content is protected Reading between the lines listening to this and a few others it's clear to me anyways that Scott knows Wilder is delusional regarding glovegate, which is why he tries his best to dance around the issue.
It seems like the blame would lie entirely with Wilder, I haven't seen any improvement in his boxing. Anyway, he has that awesome power and is brave in the ring, always entertaining!
I think Scott bows to him and glorifies everything he does. Wilder needs more discipline and I don’t think Malik can provide it.
Glovegate and the countless other excuses The Dosser made might be the most ridiculous episode in the history of the sport. This is the fight where Belly supposedly had his fists halfway in his gloves This content is protected
Maybe they share some key political agendas unlike some of the others. Wilder is a very politicalistic individual, yall better be knownst about it if you isn't. He and AJ actually have a lot in common that way.
