It's pretty much clear as day the smoke and mirrors malfunctioned this last Saturday and alot of people feel Manny is a farce media creation . Everyone who believed Manny has improved now have their foot in their mouth.

It's easy to see Manny can only look good against punching bags who stand in one spot and trade with him. But my point is if Floyd and Manny fight now and Floyd beats him, it's a sure fire bet that he doesn't get much credit now. You agree or disagree ? Or do you simply have another opinion .

Me personaly I feel Manny has taken away luster from the Floyd fight. But anyways for sure Manny is no boogeyman anymore .

    Agreed.

Pac - Mayweather is no longer significant. Pac's reputation has been permanently damaged, and the amount he's been protected has been forever exposed.

No amount of complaining by the *******s will ever change this.

i haven't had a good look at the fight period, but i still pick manny againest guys like bradley, rios, jones, and other guys arum wants him againest. floyd not so much. i was pissed at guys like maidana and paulie mal for **** talking on twitter like manny cant beat their ass. even though he didn't have a good performance, he's still a threat to anybody not named floyd mayweather.

And i'm neutral on the *******-***** war btw, just wanted a good fight.

So should Manny still be FOTD? He is officially but should someone else helm that title?

i put it more down to an impressive performance by marquez.

I wouldnt call Cotto or Hatton punching bags. But i know what you mean.

I do think that yes if floyd beats manny coming off that performance, he wont get as much appreciation, that if he'd beated him before hand

Fight is still relevant, but it will never happen. Bob Arum would never allow it.
    Pac got exposed

This forum is ridiculous. You're only as good as your last fight, never forget that.

There's one way he can erase the performance, fight and beat Mayweather, he does that, all this **** goes away. Problem is, Pacquiao is controlled by Arum who seems to have his nuts in a vice. Notice how fast Arum was right next to Pac for damage control after the fight in the interview, he made sure to pour his own Kool Aid, and how fast he cut the presser off. This fight isn't happening, Bob knows his guy would be in big trouble in there with Floyd. His stock dropped in this fight, Marquez needs to say no to a fourth fight, and then the only big fight is Floyd for big money, this fight has ripened as far as it can get, now or never.

Not sure about that..Truth is..Manny still accomplished a hell of a lot in the ring..regardless of wht you think of his resume'..Still did things by right he should'nt have been able to.

i just thought he was not the same fighter on Saturday..something in his intensity/physicality was missing...Let's face it,he was never going to be able to outbox JMM..we know this from the last two fights..and he never tried..what he did was pressure and steamroll JMM with speed and power..basically overwhelm him with his athleticism.

Somehow..on Saturday he did'nt have it..not the same.

It was always known that he looks good against opponents who come onto him. It has taken away some of the spark from the big fight. This may change over the months.

I feel Floyd is in the same boat and too hasn't taken on any challenges and if he does will look similar if you make him fight someone with the right style.

Just goes to show in this era these guys have been hyped up a bit more then what they are. That could be the case for most top fighters
