the obvious answer is yes. Political ambitions, meetings with presidents, sports stars, movies, music, references in rap, mentions in time magazine, forbes, Hollyword stars at his training camp, nike commercials with other big sports stars, and more.

    its a no brainer

:rofl All these newbies get funnier and funnier. And why the hell should Pacquiao fight Vic Darchinyan?! Vic is a great fighter no doubt but what will Pacquiao gain from fighting a super flyweight?

No, Floyd is not even on that level, so how would PAc be there?

I'd say not yet. He's definitely one of the most in not the most popular active fighter but nothing like the level of OLDH, much less Tyson.

Pacman is a megastar. Just like Mayweather. They are household names.

In the Philippines? yes. You can see pacquiao photos everywhere here-In trucks, cars, groceries, pharmacies, billboards and several places- man he's everywhere. You also see him in television commercials, programs, theaters and you read him in the newspapers. Very soon he will be in toilet papers as well. He's aso singing in the radio, he;'s in DVD(mostly pirated), CD, VCD, VHS and betamax lol. He will soon be everywhere to campaign for congressman.

He very well known in Asia, Europe, and North America. I'm not sure if South Americans and Africans know who he is but I think right now he is the most popular active boxer. Not Fraud Gayweather.
