Just joking above, that donkey Tarver wouldnt crack a 300 list but if Pac beats Floyd he does make my top 10 list, no doubt.

He will be after one more big win (Mosley or PBF) or two lesser (Cotto, Marquez, Bradley, Diaz, Valero)

Well, I think Pac looks absolute peak at these higher weights & certainly has carried all his attributes up with him, its gonna take a special fighter to even run him close let alone beat him IMO so if Floyd can beat Pac, he is definitely top 15-20... if he beats him clearly or KOs him, he could be argued top 10.
Since there IS a natural size difference between FMJ & Pac, Pac automatically gets top 10 for a Mayweather win in my book tho.

    :good

Just to play the devils advocate, why cant Pac be on par or even overtake Duran in terms of greatness?

Let me see, Durans best wins: 103-16-0
    Buchanan
    Esteban de Jesus*2
    Davey Moore
    SRL
    Cuevas
    Barkley

    Pac: 49-3-2
    MAB*2
    Morales*2
    ODLH
    JMM
    Hatton
    Ledwaba
    Larios
    Sasakul

Pac gets ripped for loosing some fights not entered his prime yet, Duran lost a lot of fights in his prime and past his prime.

Is his odds defying win over Barkley greater than Pac's over Hatton's? Both moved up a lot of weight to beat the so called bigger man. Are his wins over Jesus, Moore & Buchanan just that much better than MAB, JMM & Morales?

Pac lost to Morales, Duran also lost to Jesus first time...lost clearly to Duran, was KTFO by Hearns and although slightly past it, still lost to guys like Laing & Benitez. Granted their very good fighters and Im not even holding the Hagler fight against him.

One thing that stands out about Duran mostly is his win over SRL...he lost to him too. I guess if Pac beats Floyd, he would have a win of simmilar standing.

Why is Cotto less of a win than Mosely when you consider Cotto beat SSM fair & square & Cotto is in his prime yrs & Mosely is several yrs past his own prime ?
    :huh
They should at least be even.

Hopkins is a good fighter but you overrate him a little, he has been surpassed by Pac & Mayweather IMO... Im not even sure Hopkins should be above Morales or Barrera who were 2 excellent fighters in their prime aswell as 3 weight champions & all in much tougher divisions than Hopkins.

    47] Holyfield
    48] Mayweather Jnr
    49] Harada
    50] Britton

No Michael Spinks, Olivares or Hopkins on this list so Pacman still has some way to go.

If Pacman can continue winning he will crack the top 50, if he beats good quality opposition during that time he could crack top 30 even top 20 at a push, but at the moment he is outside the top 50 ATG's.
Floyd Mayweather has a better chance of cracking the top 20 or 30 than Pacman.

Not even close ... you base it on in the ring accomplishments ... he's not even top 50 ... because if you take a deep look into his resume ... none of the fighter in which he beat were at the top of their game when they fought him ... he's never faced a slick boxer ... he's racking up championships from fighters who didn't even deserve to be champions at the time.

His most credible wins are against Marquez and Morales ... Barrera was done at the time ... DLH was done ... Hatton had been destroyed by Mayweather ... David Diaz was just holding the belt for him ... before Pac and After Pac David Diaz hasn't done anything worth talking about.

all those other small fighters didn't have much clout they were just belt holders ...

he's a great fighter, but to put him as high as top 20 is ridiculous ... I can name more than 20 fighters who have either fought and or accomplished more than him in the ring.

he's not even top 20 over the last 20 yrs. if you include HW's he's not even top 100

    Not in any particular order
    Lennox Lewis
    DLH
    Tito Trinidad
    Roy Jones
    Bernard Hopkins
    Floyd Mayweather
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Joe Calzaghe
    Pernell Whitaker
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Mike Tyson
    Michael Spinks
    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Roberto Duran
    Willie Pep
    Ray Robinson
    Joe Louis
    Larry Holmes
    Thomas Hearns
    Marvin Hagler
    James Toney
    Evander Holyfield
    Henry Armstong
    Wilfred Benitez
    Roberto Duran
    Carlos Monzon
    Rocky Marciano
    Vinnie Pazienza
    Aaron Pryor
    Alexis Arguello

the list goes on and on and on
