From the ATG stand point Cotto is still unproven while both PBF and Mosley have top 100 ATG spot. So beating Cotto will only be historical if Cotto earns his ATG spot in the future (which isn't certain), beating PBF or Mosley (fighters who are currently listed on most people ATG list and still top 10 p4p) gives PAC proper lift up.
This list is a joke. You took ESPNs list and made some minor changes, please, next time be less obvious. PAc out of the top 50:rofl Thank God its "your" list
Who has Pac beat to put him in the company of DLH ... DLH fought and beat some credible guys ... He fought Hopkin, Trinidad, Mosley, Mayweather, Gatti, Vargas, Mayorga, JCC, Pernell Whitaker, Castillejo, Hernandez, Campos, and Ruelas Those guys are good quality guys are pretty good fighters and 6 or 7 of those guys are hall of famers ... 2 of them have over 100 fights for their careers ... all were champions ... all of those name ring a bell ... and DLH has over 25 championship fights. When you look at Pac's resume all you see is Morales, Barrera, DLH, Marquez, and Hatton, David Diaz... all those wins and or fights have question marks behind them. He doesn't even have 20 title fights like some of those other guys.
Yea he is, older guys will think not because no one will ever be as good as their generation, but he is, he's the best p4p since SRL imo.
You know what yo you have a point i dont like oscar so i didnt realize this. yo man yall hype pacman way to much seriously
Mayweather's record Tito Trinidad's record Roy Jones Record Joe Calzaghe's record Bernard Hopkins record All those guys are elite fighters and yet they're not ranked as high as top 20 on most experts, writers, and historians lists ... all those guys have well over 20 championship fights ... fought atleast - if not more than 10 champions and have won big fights against their era's best ... Pac hasn't fought this era's best.
Ray Robinson floated between welterweight and middleweight for some years ... and alot of them weren't even title fights ... he was just fighting ... 97 wins before his first loss ... having 100's of fights with only a hand full of losses ... only been KO'd once and that was by the heat. Roy Jones ... held every belt there was out there in the LHW division and had well over 20 championship fights ... Calzaghe ... 20 consecutive defenses ... Hopkins fought 6 solid hall of fame fighters ... DLH, Tito, Wright,Tarver, Jones, and Calzaghe 20 consecutive defenses Pernell Whitaker - enough said Leonard - enough said Hearns - enough said Chavez - record for championship fights and victories - over 100 career bouts ... Duran Mayweather - fought 3 primed undefeated fighters ... 20-0 in title fights ... legit 3 time linear champion ... Castillo, Corrales, Hernandez, DLH, Gatti, Judah, Hatton, Manfredy, and now Marquez.
