In that case, YOU WILL NEVER give SOMEBODY the credit he deserves..

He won the fight convincingly and yet NO CREDIT... OR LITTLE credit why?!

    The ****in' OPPONENT ISN'T prepared!!!!!!

With that kind of REASONING nobody will EVER get full CREDIT coz the loser's camp will just say.... We were not PREPARED!!!!:tired

I think that a fully prepared peak marco antonio barrera beats manny pacquiao. i give pacquiao all the credit he deserves, he was great in the fight, and put on a great show.

You expect an x boxer all the prime boxer on all his fight?!

NALLEGE - you are not living in a perfect world where all the GREAT boxers are aged accordingly to schedule of the fight and ALL fights are
    scheduled on their prime..

Now to make the subj a little more interesting...which of the three you like most mab, morales or jmm?!

    THANKS for the reply.

Now that's what I CALL pure imagination since it already happened and you were hoping it happened correct!?

I will refer you to a "FANTASY World" where all your imaginations comes true...in fact you will see a lot of JMM fans dreaming of Knocking out PAC in the first round!

You are likewise free to imagine that Mab KO'd Pac on the round of your choice!!!

Welcome to ESB and feel free to stay at "FANTASY World"

    Where DREAMS are REALITY!!!!!:good

He would move up at least twenty places if he gets those two wins.

Pacquiao bludgeoned Barerra when he was poun dfor pound number 3.He totally starched him.To me it was more impressive than Hopkins' win over Trinidad.

Pacquiao won't last any more than seven rounds against Oscar.

But YOU ARE taking away from Pac's ass-whooping of Barrera. I could easily as say that the outcome wouldn't be any different even if MAB had the necessary amount of time to prepare. PAC won every second of every minute of that round (yes, even the first round IMO). PAC did to MAB what he did to David Diaz. Conversely, you can say Pac only had 2 weeks to train for a championship fight in Ledwaba...and you know how that turned out. Bottom line is, MAB was a consensus p4per when he fought Pac.He had no excuses. AND he knew Pac was a threat. How could he not, after Pac made his splash on HBO PPV undercards with ko destructions of Ledwaba, Lucero, and Julio. MAB knew who Pac was and the threat he possessed. He would've been a fool to take Pac lightly at that point.

In terms of all-time greatness, part of Pac's legend is derived not just from the black and white of his resume, but also nuances of fights like the fore mentioned. I think it is incredible that a then 24 year old Pac made a future HOF'er and then top 5 p4per in MAB look like a clueless amateur (in his own backyard). You got the admire the cahones that a 19 year old kid just 3 years fresh off the street selling donuts, would be willing to go to Thailand and challenge a linear champ in Sasakul, (and again, knock him out in his own backyard). After losing to EM, Pac could have easily folded like Naz and end up just a boxing footnote in wikipedia, but he didn't. Not only did he come back, but he did it in empathic fashion---stopping EM for the first time and being the only one to do so. I already mentioned taking the Ledwaba fight in 2 weeks. And come on, Pac essentially called out MAB, EM, JMM back to back to back. Who does that?...the point is Pac's resume speaks for itself, but what stands out is the manner he achieved what he has achieved. And all this at by the age of 29.......cuuhraazeee.

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

    HELL NO

Pac is barely a top 25 fighter from 1990 to now, if he is even in the top 25.

I think that people get way ahead of themselves on this kind of stuff. Pac maybe the most over hyped over rated fighter of this era.....But at one point so was Gatti:hey

I think that if anyone really sat down and thought about the fighters only since 1990 to now you would find it really hard to put Pac in the top 25.

    Absolutely.

Pacquiao's best win by far was beating Barrera in 2003. Since then, he has lost to a past-it Morales, and lost twice to Juan Manuel Marquez in mine and a lot of ringside observors eyes. He took the easy option in fighting Diaz, and he will be knocked out early against De La Hoya.

Manny Pacquiao is NOT top 50. NO WAY!
