I know there's a lot of fighters in the past who get's knockout in that type of fashion and was never the same fighter after that. I believe Bernard point out on ESPN that this type of knockout can end a fighters career since they can be gun shy and their whole mind set it's a lot different when approaching an opponent. We seen guys like Roy Jones that got knockout and after that his career was never the same even though he had a decent run. Do you believe Manny Pacquiao can bounce back?

With his style and the way he fights...I am not sure! He is a risk taker so we have to wait and see how he reacts to and takes Rios punches. Rios is slow and easy to hit so I think he can dart in and out against Rios and avoid Rios Power so I am not sure if this fight will tell us much.

He's had two bouts of bad luck.

1 decision he lost with Bradley.
He won that pretty easily IMHO against undoubtedly one of the best current boxers out there.

1 KO in a fight he was dominating.
Being overly aggressive cost him 1 boxing match.
    It happens.

Were people asking if Lennox's career was over after he got KOed twice?
If they were, they've obviously never been hit in the face before because in boxing 1 mistake loses a boxing match.
The greatest of all time make those mistakes.
    Pacman made a mistake.

I'm not surprised Marquez is avoiding a rematch.
He was getting his ass kicked in the last bout.
1 shot saved his ass from being KOed out himself.
    He knows it to.

I fear for Rios' career in his next fight.

I don't think he's going to quit, but I don't think he's getting Knocked out neither so its going to be a brutal beating on the Marg scale.
Busted eye sockets and innards everywhere.

Will people say his career is over after he potentially finishes off Rios's career?

    Also answer me this anybody.
After 1 loss it seems like the Mayweather vs Manny fight lost its appeal to some?
I don't know why that is.

Its still the biggest fight out there.

Manny is either on the slide big time or was losing motivation. I'm hoping it was the latter and getting KO'd by Marquez will reignite the fire in his belly.

Let's wait and see him perform in his next fight to judge. Pacquiao isn't the first fighter in history to run into a punch at the wrong time and get stopped.

:rofl:patsch Pacquiao had had a good spell in the fight, but never in a month of Sundays was JMM on his way to being TKO'd. He was lucid and was looking for the right hand, which he detonated with aplomb on Pac's Chin, Shattering Glass all over the ring.:deal

This question will be answered when he fights Rios.

I expect Rios to get beaten to a pulp and Manny re-establishing himself as one of the top guys in the division.

After a KO like that I think his career is over. There is really no sense for him to continue, he should be nowhere near broke. And who can really top what he did anyways.

Rios fight will tell. If he wins and Mayweather wins his next, Pac- Mayweather is on again!

Thats where its heading. Rios is only fall guy to pave way for a blockbuster fight with Mayweather. Rios will make Pac look like force again.

    Can I ask this:

Floyd has alot of fights left on his deal.

Would he not want to save the Manny fight for the last on his deal? Or maybe for his next and maybe final "50th win" fight after the deal is up?

Your dreaming the fight will never happen unless Pac leaves top rank and signs with GBP, which is NEVER going to happen.
Answer to question of thread: Pacs career ended when he renewed his contract with Top Rank. When top rank ran out of fighters he should have went free agent like floyd did and he could have had many better fights but it is WAY TOO LATE NOW!!!
