Mickey losing to Schmeling was his fourth KO. Sam Langford suffered his fourth and fifth KO to Harry Wills. Walker and Langford were both 5'7". Both started at welterweight while Schmeling and Wills were 6'1, and 6'2" heavyweights.

Nah lets no lie out our ass off. Foreman had 28 pounds on Moorer not 100 and it was because of Foremans old man body being full of fat, not because Foreman was more muscular or anything significant because Foreman in his prime was 6'3 225 or less so he was barely bigger than Moorer in his hay day. And Foreman had been knocked out by Ali, lost to Jimmy Young, retired for over a decade, came back, and won a world title against a world class fighter over 20 years after he got knocked out by Ali at the age of 45 and to this day he is still the oldest Heavyweight champion in history.

If Pacquiao wins against Spence then it's arguable that he achieved a better feat and i would agree that he did, but we don't know if thats whats going to happen, likely hood is Pacquiao looses and possibly badly

Not sure if it's the most G, but it is right up there especially in recent memory

So before the fight, Pacman is ALMOST the winner already....

    Definitely up there.

I have a 49 (49!) year old Hopkins going after prime undefeated Kovalev up there, in terms of recent top G (and unwise) moves.

No not even close. Duran fighting a ATG like SRL was light years more G and him fighting Hagler

Obviously it was 100lbs, it was exaggerated for a reason. Point is Foreman came in weighing as much as Klitschko and Joshua, he was a super heavyweight before super heavyweights. Meanwhile Moorer was a former LHW.

The 10 years of rest was for Foreman’s benefit. He basically hasn’t taken all that much damage, unlike Pac who’s been in non-stop wars since he was 16/17. He turned pro very young and never stopped. He was supposed to be past his prime a decade ago.

You realize Bowe, Lewis, Golota etc were all SHWs right ? They weighed from 235 to over 250lb Even Ruddock can be included because he came in at 238lb against Mike Tyson. The 90s was full of them, i can name more if you want. Also Moorer was a former LHW but he was a HUGE LHW. He literally was able to skip Cruiserweight easily and he did pretty decent at heavyweight. Obviously not elite but a decent world class fighter like Ray Mercer. And before the Moorer fight Foreman took Blow after Blow from Holyfield, Cooney and Morrison. 2 of which were absolutely huge punchers And the decade retirement in of itself is something to consider, to the point where you'll never reach anywhere near your prime even when getting in the ring again

Don't forget Foreman BEAT Moorer and he did it by knockout. He didn't loose which is what might happen to Pacquiao against Spence though if Pacquiao wins then i will agree that Pacquiaos feat is better

Heavyweight a different story. It's the weight class where many guys can KO the other guy with a single punch.

It’s not unprecedented with 49 year old challenging Kovalev or 41 year old Wlad challenging Joshua, but It’s an ATG move.

Neither men gave up significant size advantages though. And neither men fought through a gauntlet of ATGs in many wars and were snuffed out in the most brutal way possible.

The Hopkins move was an ultra G move, but the Joshua move was aight. Joshua was looked at as a good prospect, but not a P4P monster.
