Is Manny Pacquiao Overrated ?

No he is not!!

He won world titles in 8 weight divisions. only a remarkable fighter could achieve such a feat

He is however past his prime and declining and so people look at him vs marquez/mosley and see an average performance and seem to forget about the amazing performances against Morales/marquez/Barerra/Hatton/ODLH/Ledwaba/Cotto

for me the best fight pac had was vs Diaz not for the opposition faced but for the total destruction. breaking down and KO.

How many other fighters in that magical featherweight era could have faced Barrera x 2 marquez x 2 and morlaes x 3 and only lose once (perhaps 2 including the marquez fight).

Pac is not over rated, simply not as good as he once was

rate a guy over his entire career and not when he is getting on a bit and still expected to blow everyone away

It's safe to say the guy is a great fighter and most of us would say that based on his achievements. The light in which he is cast by his avid fanbase and Pinoys is ******ed at times

 

The problem is, there is an equivalent number of *****s that try to diminish all that he ahs achieved.
