The pressure for him to win is immense. Imagine a whole country rooting for him to win. Any fighter at his position will need an outlet if they lose.

Some of his excuses may be true. But I know that fans don't want to hear that.

He's not. It's for show. Nobody who is actually humble would try to transition from boxing superstardom to politics all the while making Wapakman sequels. He cheats on his wife. Nah. I'm not buyin'. No different than PBF; a typical Hollywood egomaniac w/a bad case of shortman's intent upon self-aggrandizement.

    That is all.

    Arguello was really humble.
Marquez seemed to me to be pretty humble and respectful as Manny.
Juan Urango seemed pretty humble to me.
    Marcos Maidana was incredibly humble.
    Kessler is pretty class.
Librado Andrade is the epitome of a sportsman.

The list goes on and on...I think there's a nice group of athletes that are more humble than Manny.

But notice how most of those guys aren't necessarily superstars either...we can only imagine what would happen to their egos after hitting the top tiers of the sport.

I think Addie wanted to say Manny is humble. I dont know maybe he is maybe not, religion too plays a huge role in humility. He says he is God fearing. Hope you are too.

Manny Pacquiao is a lot more humble than his hardcore fans are most of the time, I just didn't like his post-fight interview after Erik Morales I.

I never thought he was all that humble but then again most athletes that keep mentioning how God is specifically out there giving a **** and making them win fights or not allowing them to win fights are really not saying that because they're humble to God, IMO. It's because if they lose, it wasn't God's plan and if they win, GOD wants them to win because they matter so much. Pacquiao may be a good guy but humble? Rarely is somebody going to be treated like a superstar for years going to be genuinely humble. And should we expect them to be? Isn't there normally a good deal of motivation in your ego for world class athletes, businessmen, etc, etc, etc? Doesn't it only make sense that whether they're good or bad people they are going to be somewhat full of themselves? I'm not saying they should be jerks but humble isn't a quality I'd find prevalent among elite atheletes. Anyway, blah blah blah, rant, rave, grumble.

I like Pac, he is not trash talker and does not brag about himself like Void.

In the end, nobody really cares if Pacquiao is humble or not...unless of course if you want to suck his dick and stalk him all around as a troll.

I like the way he fights though :)

Even if you did want to do that, why would humbleness matter in that instance?

Farm, just because Addie is talking about Pacweather doesn't mean you need to come in and mention Pacweather. Not everything to do with one has to do with the other. Mannoyd Pacweather is his own man and so is Mannoyd Pacweather.

    I agree 1000%

This guy is gonna overtake Roberto Duran as the king of excuses if he hasnt already.

Funny how we never heard about the blood test in Morales 1 until his backing out of the FM fight & knocking back the 14 day window :think

The guys a very good fighter & a warrior when he`s in the ring, he is quite exciting to watch too (tho not as exciting as he`s made out on these boards at times) but he`s never ever gonna be my fav fighter.... & for the record, I dont think he`s humble in the slightest, its just his choosen act as is FMs bad guy act.

    That my opinion.
