I know I'm playing with fire but hear me out

Pac is great an he's an offensive onslaught ... he's a machine and not many can do what he does .... but does that make him the best ...

we've seen pac miss nearly 1000 punches before in 1 bout ... we've seen him struggle while being counter punched ... and we've seen him get outboxed to a point where his only chance of winning was when the other guy went southpaw ...

U have guys like Juanma Lopez & Vic Darchinyan who are k.o.ing people left and right ... or guys like glen johnson who has a punch output as high as anyone ... or Wladimir Klitschko who does allow anyone inside and has the strongest punch in the sportand finally (here's where I'm gonna hear it) ... Floyd Mayweather ... who is as accurate and disciplined and versitile as anyone ever ...

I'm not saying that Pac isn't ... I'm just wondering there's a debate about everything in boxing ... but when it come to the best Offensive and Defensive fighters of the present its almost written in stone .. in my opinion the defensive one is hands down the best in that catagory ... the offensive is pretty debatable ...

    Yaaaaaaaaah He is.

A Machine Gun is a better offensive weapon than a pistol. It might miss alot more, but it will catch you eventually.

We have yet to see how that fares with a moving target .... which it might affect aggression, high work rate, ability to use angles and his (recently obtained) accuracy

I think a good indicator is how much damage he inflicts on his opponents. Outside of Clottey, all of his opponents the past decade received a hell of a beating. Even in his loss against Morales, Erik was far from unscathed, in his close fights against Marquez he put the guy down 4 times.

Sure JML and Vic are putting people down left and right, but you have to consider who they're putting down. And they don't have the same output as Pac. Other fighters have a higher output but are not as accurate or not as powerful. Other fighters are more accurate but not as powerful and have lower outputs (to the point where the only outpoint their opponents). Others punch harder but don't punch as often.

There is no other fighter who exceeds Pac in all of the following criteria normally associated to good offense and have showed it against the same level of opposition as Pac:
    Power
    Output
    Accuracy
