I'd question the 'still' in the thread title to be honest.

Taking the emotionally charged fanboys out of the equation I don't believe Manny was ever a true threat to Floyd's '0'. Of course this isn't possible to say on an internet forum infested with hormonal groupies who reduce every debate to a slanging match.

Pacquiao was and is a fantastic headhunter and an all action offensive demon. But Floyd is on another level, now or three years ago it makes little difference.

Okay what dose Money do better than anyone in boxing at this point, take away your strengths and no real boxing fan can deny this.Way too skilled for Pac and he can fight dirty the only chance Pac has is to land a lucky shot and Money has a solid chin.

    Simple Answer . YES

When it comes to Manny Pacquiao , Floyd doubts himself and will continue to always doubt himself . Floyd has always felt threatend by Pac . Whether its his speed , punching power , angles or his southpaw stance who knows ?

Still till this day , talks of a Mayweather/Pacquiao has died down a lot . Yet Floyd still creating more roadblocks so the fight can never happen

Floyd - If manny wants a fight with me , he needs to give me fights under Mayweather promotions .

Floyd knows damn well that will never ever happen .

Mayweather always does what ever he can to prevent the fight from happening . My point is why we should Believe Floyd can beat Manny when FLOYD HIMSELF doesn't believe he can do it .

Not a chance in hell. Right now, there is at least a half dozen welters who beat PAC and may even knock him out.

Do me a favour and lay off the crack yeah:nut

Which half a dozen welter can beat Pac?

    Soto-Karass?
    Berto?
    Broner?
    Guerrero?
    Ortiz?
    Alvarado?
    Provodnikov?
    Brook?
    Alexander?
    Maidana?
    Khan?
    Brook?

Pac wipes the floor with all of the above..

He's already beat Marquez twice yes maybe debatable but all where close.

He's already been robbed against Bradley who would be favourite against all of the above.

Who exactly has Mayweather fought at 140-154 that is anywhere near as good as Pac?

    Cotto?
    A faded De La Hoya?
    Hatton?
    Moseley?
    Gatti?
    Guerrero?
    Ortiz?

I know this arguament can go both ways, but we already know Floyd is a major threat to Pac BUT Pac is also a major threat to Floyd, he maybe favourite coming in but Pac is the best opponent Floyd has ever fought and vice-versa

    So stop the bullsh1t.

This right here, I'm anything but a *******, Pac would have been Floyds ultimate test in my opinion. If it was easy money Floyd would of signed that **** so fast it would have made your head spin.

it's mind boggling to me that people still ask this question. manny has shown a marked decline in his last few fights. he looked to be back in a spirited mood fighting wise, last time out, but it ultimately resulted in a devastating knockout loss, whereas floyd silenced any observers who had supposedly seen even the slightest breach in his armor during the cotto bout. sorry to say, but one fighter seems to be smooth sailing, while the other seems to be slowly sinking. In my opinion, the time where pacquiao ever had a legitimate shot at defeating mayweather has come, if it ever did actually come, and gone.

Of course he is. Power, handspeed, footspeed, stamina, and unpredictability. Would be Floyd's toughest fight ever, by a long shot. And obviously with all the roadblocks and health scares, Floyd thinks Manny is pretty threatening too.

Styles make fights...I think Pacquiao's style is all wrong for Floyd. Not saying he would beat Floyd but not saying he can't either.
