Well that's what we're talking about. Tito fought a shot to sh*t, drug addicted version of Pernell at 147 and never hurt him. But Pac would?

Not at 147, I doubt Pac hurts him there. I'd put money on Pacquiao would hurt anybody 130 and below.

Why? Well because that's what he did to everybody there.

I know. Which is why we have to use p4p in comparing fighters of different weights.

We've been comparing Hagler and Pacquiao even though Hagler is like a giant compared to Pacquiao.

If Sweet Pea was a 130 pounder I can't see him going 12 rounds without being hurt at least once.

Well if he was 130 lber id imagine he would be even faster with better reflexes than he had at LW (already the best in history) which would make him essentially unhittable. He's faster than Floyd and Manny P4P. And I think he would toy with Manny. I like the Mexican big 3 from that era a lot and you've seen me defend them on here many times but pernell was simply a level above those guys. I also think he beats Floyd at 135 and quite possibly 140.

And also I don't see anyone comparing Hagler and Pac in a mythical H2H matchup. Just ATG status.

I'm not saying that Pacquiao would beat Pernell p4p. I'm just saying that I see him getting hurt at least once.

Pacquiao is speed/power/stamina personified. He's going to throw like 700 power shots in a fight.

In a mythical p4p between Hagler and Pacquiao I would see a draw.

Hagler would cut off the ring and not give Manny any room to do his in-an-out. He would try and wear Pacquiao down for a late stoppage.

Problem is Pacquiao doesn't get worn down. His tank can't be depleted. I see Pacquiao's superior speed scoring a lot of points. But he won't be able to crack Haglers chin.

Hagler would be the effective aggressor and score a lot points coming forward.

So how does that result in a draw? What you describe to me sounds like a comfortable Hagler decision.

Because Pacquiao is fast man, fast, fast, fast. And he doesn't stop. Coming towards Pacquiao is a tough road.

Also I see Hagler having some success cutting off the ring, but he's not going to consistently shut down Pacquiao's movement. Manny is just too quick to get consistently boxed in.
