    Precisely IB!
A lot of lefties in history beat pac h2h, I think. Pernell springs immediately to mind.

As far as accolaides though, the only lefty that I think has as impressive accolaides is maybe macho camacho
The length of time in the game and his level of opposition throughout his carrer is IMO more impressive than Pac's. His titles from a time when alphabets didnt exist which help Pac throw up more impressive numbers. To be clear, I do not think that Camacho wins H2H against Pac.

Who cares about the belts? Pac is my favorite fighter and I could give two poos about the 8 belts in 8 weight classes.

You really think that Pacquiao could be boxed in consistently the whole fight?

Hagler has great ring generalship, but Pac is too fast to be contained consistently.

AND.... there you have it- Pac is your favorite fighter. And why wouldn't he be? He's exciting. But you can't discount the other fighters' accomplishments or strengths that are missing from your favorite fighter simply because he is your favorite.

That is of course assuming you want a logical answer to your question "Is Pacquiao the greatest southpaw of all time?"

How will fighters be revered as greatest of all time? If history could give two poos about the 8 belts in 8 weight classes, and we had to rely strictly on their head to head ability, then Pacquiao is even further diminished on the list. He is the most known southpaw TODAY for sure- but you are talking greatest ALL TIME.

Does he beat every other lefty in history in the ring- definitely not (especially if other weight classes can be considered)

Does he have an impressive resume and is he the biggest southpaw star or draw now- Sure.

Will his accomplishments echo forever in history? Only time will tell.

I mean it's a pretty tough thing to even envision as their best weights are SIX divisions apart. But no one is hurting Marvin without an automatic firearm and I think Marvin would wear him down or just plain outbox him. EM managed to outbox him and EM wasn't on Hagler's level.

Hearns hurt Hagler. It can be done. I think Hearns is p4p a bigger puncher though.

I'm more of a resume guy when it comes to evaluating fighters. H2H and belts don't mean much to me.

I can't see Pacquiaos career forgotten anytime soon.

Agreed that Hearns is a bigger P4P puncher than Manny :good And although Tommy is my #1 all time favorite fighter I would disagree that he ever really hurt Marvin. Are you talking about the first couple of big rights Tommy caught him with in the 1st round where the commentators start going wild and saying that he hurt him? Because I completely disagree that Marvin was hurt. They clinched for about 1 second and Marvin never stopped coming forward or throwing bombs. Marvin was a f*cking animal with a completely unnatural chin. i think Marvin took those rights and thought "huh, that was the hardest I've ever been hit. Fortunately my chin is not made of an earthly substance. I think I'll go knock this string bean out now".
