Pacquiao has no shortage of quality opposition.

We can look at his resume and realize he could hang with the best.

No question. I'm just shocked no one else has mentioned Saldivar.

    Nope, not even top 5.

He is the #2-3 in this era though, that I'll concede.

He's also a top 70 atg, somewhere there.

Same I'm surprised as a possible H2H nobody mentioned him because they are the best featherweights.

Anybody think Hagler has a major black mark on his career?

The fight against Vito Antufermo. I can understand having your struggles with Duran though the 4 weight class should have made a bigger difference. And I understand the Leonard struggles.

The Vito struggles are inexcusable. Hagler wasn't green. He wasn't washed up. He just for some reason had trouble with Vito Antufermo.

If we're gonna tear apart pacquiao for going life and death with 2 ATGS then what does Hagler deserve for having a draw with Vito?

Watch those fights and then comment on them.

    I've seen the Vito fight.

And Vito was no great fighter. Really inexcusable for a prime Hagler to struggle there.

Haggler didn't struggle with Vito. He was robbed in the first fight and beat the **** out of him in the second fight. I really wonder if you saw those fights.

I had Hagler winning by just 1 round. Vito was clearly a less talented fighter. Hagler must have talked too much **** before the fight and ****ed off Vito.

The baddest man alive then didn't look so bad in that fight. Vito was the guy coming forward.

I will concede your Vito but raise you a Tim Bradley.
Bradley, though a rough and tumble opponent should have never posed a threat to this Phenom in Pacquiao.
BUT HE WAS ROBBED! Pac supporters will claim. But to that I say that many people say the same about Hagler against FRIGGIN LEONARD and Sweet Pea against DLH (Which we saw a great in Pernell albeit diminished and past prime AND possibly after cocaine use. Clearly not prime.)
Additionally Pac IMO has received more than his fair share of gifts. Marquez is one of his greatest credits of victory but I am of the opinion that it was actually a series of losses.
Pacquiao has losses against people who are meant to be tomato cans as well.

I'm all for critiquing Pacquiaos fights against Marquez and Morales.

But Bradley no because it was a robbery first and Pac was clearly in the downside by then.

Hagler's struggles against Vito were at his peak.

    Actually, still can. Ask Hurtado.
