No disrespect to Hagler, but I think Pacquiao may be better.

Here me out. Pacquiao while at Featherweight had a much better speed, power and stamina combo.

In his prime only Morales beat him and it was razor close.

Would Pacquiao go life and death with a guy of Mugabi's caliber? Hagler went life and death with a lightweight? That was two full divisions below him. Could you ever imagine a natural flyweight in history ever taking Pacquiao to the brink?

I understand that you are a Pac fan and you are entitled to your opinion. However, you will have a hard time finding an objective person that agrees with you. You probably wasn't following boxing back then but Mugabi was a killer and Duran was more than just a mere lightweight. However, we all have our agendas so no problem.

If I'm not mistaken Duran spent a good portion of his 20s at lightweight. He wasn't a teenage lightweight. He was more of a natural lightweight.

I was just pointing out some points.

Duran held a title at 160 by beating up the man that stopped Hearns at that weight. 135 was Duran's best weight but he is a top ten atg and was more than just a blown-up lightweight when he fought Hagler. If I wanted to split hairs, I could pick apart Pac's fights against the Mexican legends.

Duran got there by eating his way to 160. He's great, but Marvin the much naturally bigger man shouldn't have gone life and death. And Mugabi simply shouldn't have taken peak Hagler into deep waters.

Pac's only struggles in his prime came from Morales and Marquez. And only Morales beat him.

I'm just pointing out that Pacquiaos resume during his prime can stack up.

Pacquiao is one of the best fighters to ever lace them up, but he's not the greatest southpaw of all time. That distinction goes to Pernell ''Sweet Pea" Whitaker.

Nobody remembers pernell's jabfest against DLH?

    Oscar just smothered him.

    Diosbelys Hurtado would strongly disagree.

Many ringside observers had Oscar losing to Whitaker. Imagine if that was a prime Whitaker instead.
