If Manny Pacquiao defeats Margocheato in November.... and Martinez either beats Paul Williams or loses a close decision again, would that be the ffight everyone wants to see next year-- one between Pacman and Martinez?

Let's be honest, Bob Arum and Roach would never want to put Pacman in the ring with Williams and his reach (6'1".. 82" reach)... his just too big even if he does show tremendous flaws in technique.... Martinez though is 5'10" with a 76" reach according to Boxrec.. Margarito is 5'11" with a 73" reach. They are nearly the same size.. so size is not an excuse not to fight Martinez....

No one wants to see a Cotto rematch, and Mosley is out of the picture, even though I thought he won the Mora fight and he is still a good fighter, but honestly, he should retire for his best interests IMO....

Martinez and Williams are fighting at 157 for the middleweight title! So why not Martinez drop to 154? Are there any better fights out there? Your thoughts and who wins?

Just to say what I think, this is probably the biggest fight Pacman can make for himself next year, unless Cotto does something special in December. Martinez said he would like to fight Pirog but I think he'd rather face and get paid to fight Pacman... It's the best fight that can be made to me, barring they both win in November... I think it's really close.. but I might squeak out Martinez with the close UD/SD....

Martinez is a much bigger, stronger, version of Paquiao. It would be borderline criminal the kind of punishment Sergio would inflict on Manny. The fight would be a "superfarce" and bad for boxing. Pac would be better off fighting Williams or pretty much anyone else...better yet, going back to welterweigh IF he beats Marg.

I don't think so.... yeah he's bigger and stronger but they fight nothing alike.... Martinez is slick, counterpunches, and seems more patient, even though he can trade... Pacman throws flurries no matter what.. I don't think he can fight calm lol.. but yeah I still think Martinez would win...

But Williams is better?? I don't think so...... he's too long

Is this the superfight we´ve been waiting for? No
    Is it interesting? HELL YES!
Will Pacs camp be that stupid to take this fight? No, because Martinez isnt a big draw and doesnt come forward to fight like all the other welters Pac has fought, so he is a huge risk. High risk + low reward= No fight.

Pac is in the twilight years of his career....I seriously doubt he puts himself in a situation to get his ass handed to him. I don't think this fight is a smart move from Pac and I doubt Pac will take this fight...don't blame him one bit.

I'd love to see it. I think it would be a great clash of styles and I'd be confident in Pacquiao pulling it off. I really like both men though, so I wouldn't be too fussed about who wins. What a victory or would be for Pacquiao though. A much bigger, slick fighter.

Pac-PTP is a more watchable fight for casuals.

    Jail is more likely

What I think is a shame about Floyd is that the guy could have become one of the greats and people in the future would have compared him to the likes of Robinson, Leonard and others. But unfortunately his big money ego and the big fights he missed when he was in his prime because of the money issues, will probably make him the saddest "what could have been" fighter, probably of all time. Im a Floyd Mayweather fan, but the dude ruined his own career, and I dont feel bad about him, I just feel bad for us boxing fans that didnt have the chance to put boxing back on the world map like in the 80´s.

There has to be SOME point where the size difference becomes too much for Pacquiao to overcome. I really hate to see the guy keep moving up and up in weight because I'm a huge fan but eventually he's going to lose to a guy that's not nearly as good as he is.
