Is Manny Pacquiao vs Sergio Martinez the "superfight" We've Been waiting For?

I dont mean that he fights just like him, but the advantages that Manny usually brinds into a fight, Martinez does too, except that Martinez is bigger and stronger. Both guys are southpaws and use a lot of lateral movement, and are consistent. But, yes, they are both different fighters stylistically. Martinez is likely actually better imo at 154 and above because as Manny continues to go up in weight he will not be able to get away with some of the stuff his speed has allowed him too in the past and his lack of fundementals will show more and more.

I say Williams is a better fight for Pac because he is so long and not particularly fast or fleet footed. Pac would have a chance to beat Williams if he stays in the pocket. Williams arms are so long that Pac can take away a lot of his advantages by keeping the fight in close quarters and firing short punches from many angles. And Williams like Pac, uses his offence as his defence, the only difference is that Pac can get out of the way fast cause he is much faster on his feet. Again, he may not be as effective with this against these big guys, but hes gonna be fast at any weight. Not an easy fight for either guy, but its a better fight for Pac than is Martinez.

 

Not happening. They didn't even want a Mosley who was willing to handicap himself.

Pac couldn't beat Williams at any weight.

 

Martinez or Williams vs Pacquiao would be a superfight amongst hardcore fight fans who know the sport and understand the sport to the fullest.

 

He beat Oscar and Miguel, but he couldn't beat PW ?
