    Mayweather Team:

    - ''Pacquiao is 1 dimensional fighter, floyd will kick his ass''

    - ''Once I stomp the midget, I'll make that mother[expletive] make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice."

    - ''Poochiao' got three losses and two draws and been knocked out twice," Mayweather said. "So, like I said before, once I beat him it's going to be a cakewalk''.

since that has nothing to do with why they haven't fought, why would you start a thread dedicated to it?

Just wanted to know whether Pacquiao's resume is good enough for a fight against Mayweather since the Mayweather team saying he is a 1 dimensional no skilled little fighter.

I honestly feel that Mayweather could win a UD win over Pacquiao but.....
Pacquiao is a very strong and unpredictable southpaw that can surprise Mayweather and has a punchers chance.

This fight should have happened 2009-10 when there was the distinct possibility that if anyone could have defeated Mayweather, then it was Pacman. He is not the fighter he was back then however if the fight took place now it would still be massive. Floyd wide points win!

I agree this fight will still be massive, but just imagine Pac's & Mayweather's last 3 fights of their careers ends in a trilogy bout against each other.

I will try to explain boxing promotion to the people here who think this fight will happen.
The hint of this fight keeps the fans hoping and watching both fighters.
They will not fight until both guys are ready to retire.
No matter who wins the fight they both lose, after the fight the suspense is gone and both fighters will lose fans willing to pay to see them fight.
Once the big question is answered (who is the best) there is no more drama and suspense!!!!

I don't think his resume stacks up to Ortiz's and Guerrero who beat that first ballot hall of famer in Berto ..He still needs a win over a fighter the caliber of Berto to get that shot at. MW .

This seems like a dumb question of course if you look at Pacquiao's total body of work he should get the fight but if you can't make it take the next best option and honestly Alvarez over Trout and Ortiz over Berto are better than any win Pacquiao has had since Cotto
