Why ? Well because he is a bull**** artist like Anthony. An average fighter who has made far more money than his skills warranted imo. If Mundine gets hate than Danny should also.

yea but the difference is.. Green DOESN'T go on about he is the best fighter since ray robinson.. he has never compared himself to anybody, and doesn't talk his skills up like Mundine...

Australian fighters will never reach the calibre of the americans, they really have to make do with the limited skills they have...

so why can't he make a few million any way he sees fit>?? he doesn't brag... thats the big difference between him and another boxer.

it's not an attack..I'm just being realistic..
Boxing is a real tough sport, I appreciate how hard it is to box since I do it...It's not easy making it to the top..

Saying Aussie fighters will never reach the caliber of the American's is harsh mate. Take away all the balloons and streamers, bright lights and bull**** and you'll see Australia has done VERY well in it's own efforts over the years.

What you're saying is understandable and realistic all the same.

Who are the best Americans we compete with anyway??? I love this part... 90% Negro's and Hispanics. You must know why I love that part.

History has completely butt-****ed the Yankee identity.

    Cheers mate.

Are you sure about that ? Didn't he crap on that he is a legend killer because he beat a shot to **** once legend in Roy Jones Jr. ? Doesn't he also crap on that he is a legit world champion at the moment when his IBO bull**** title fighting light heavy's is anything but legit. He is the same as Mundine but he plays up his Aussie bloke bogan persona.

As i said earlier he is just an average fighter on the world stage who makes out that he is far far better than he actually is. Amazing that a fighter of his ability has made so much money.

It was Hopkins who first coined the phrase 'to become a legend you must beat a legend'. It was shown in the pre fight of Green-Jones Jr.

Then Andy Raymond latched onto it during the commentary.

And yes, its been repeated ad nauseum ever since, including by Green himself.

Maybe the instigator should have kept his mouth shut originally, didn't exactly show himself to be a genius in the first place by saying we're part of Europe.

Hype sells, I don't begrudge anyone making a buck out of the game. Its up to you if you want to contribute to that or not. If you can sway the masses, then by all means, do it.

correct leon, hopkins said it when bagging green, raymond "played with it" and green said it to take the **** out of hopkins! yet guess what, hopkins ran scared!
I agree with whoever that if green aint on his game (eg Gonzalez years ago) he could find himself having a quick look at the bright lights!!

I know this isnt on topic but I reckon Mundine did well to keep away from Green as long as he did. If the 2 fought when Green and Fenech were really chasing him all those yrs ago Danny probably would have won imo.

As soon as Mundine knew beyond doubt he had the ability to beat Danny the fight got made.
