We'll know more after Kermit's next outing. That's a big one for Manny in my view.

I think he did a terrible job with Taylor.

Taylor needed a guy 24/7 Calzaghe style, and Manny ain't it.

Manny cntributed to Naseem Hameds downfall as well, he grabs the cash and runs. Manny even admitted he couldnt get Hamed to train properly.

What good is he if he cant motivate his fighter.

He's not a motivator and admits it freely. He's an organiser, a tactician and but his real skill lies in improving a given fighters skillset.

The work he did with Lewis was breathtaking. Lewis went from awkward banger to all time great fighter and boxer under Steward.

True... Lewis was Steward's masterpiece. Even with Klitschko, he's not doing a bad job. Klitschko is not the destroyer he was before Sanders, but he's damn harder to beat now than he was then.

So one of his fighters loses and now he's a **** trainer? When 2 boxers fight it is just the 2 of them in the ring, not their trainers. Manny couldn't get Taylor to listen to him...............his advice was good but he couldn't get Taylor to obey him.

Just because he's a great (and proven) trainer doesn't mean his judgement is flawless.

Count the amount of times a Buddy Mcgirt fighter has lost.. sometimes your fighter just doesn't have "it".

Why didn't Steward tell Lee to clinch on the inside ... double up on his jab and throw more combo's?

I think Steward as a trainer needs to retire ...

It seems as if his fighter is being dominated, he doesn't have a proper strategy or adjustments.

He was certainly partly to blame but the big causes was that ***** Oscar Suarez and Naz`s brothers. Suarez was nothing short of a really bad joke. His preparation and inability to even admonish Naz in training was why his downfall was so swift. As for Manny he did bugger all for Naz.He has a reputation as being a trainer who`s great for punchers. In my opinion thats garbage.

    Aaron Pryor Jr --

is the wackest boxing prospect I've seen in the last 5 years ...

that guys truely sucks and Shame on Steward for putting that guy on TV - at best he's a journeyman and will soon because a punching bag for his more credible fighters. Or he would just fight bums and have a record he doesn't deserve.
