When manny became pound for pound number 1 after Mayweather retired, there's a lot of people who said he might be the weakest pound for pound no.1 in recent history and when compared to the previous number ones like DLH, Hopkins, Mosley, Mayweather, and Jones Jr.

Is he still the weakest? if not, then who?

With what he has accomplished from the time he became numero uno, he certainly ain't the weakest anymore..

Out of the 6 names you mentioned I'd have to say prob Mayweather Jr's run was the weakest.

IMO, P4P is the worst thing that can happen to a fighter's career.
(The start of the 1-2 fight's a year & the pick & choose aspect begins)

Ive personally never had DLH at no1 p4p but Im sure he was by consensus at 1 point & so was Trinidad for that matter :-(...... Manny blows those 2 away, I think he`s a better p4per than Hopkins or Mosely was too TBH, he`s up there with Jones & Mayweather as the best of recent times, thats my genuine opinion on the man.

Still think he`ll lose the mega-fight tho but never say never in boxing & if he wins that, he leaves every name mentioned for dead.

    JMO :thumbsup

the cotto fight was the only catchweight fight

If Pacquiao was the weakest, Mayweather could have easily dethroned him of the recognition by his comeback. But Pacquiao held on to his title as the best and kept mayweather at number 2. he ain't so weak at all.

And of all the number ones i've mentioned, Pacquiao could very well go down with the highest ATG ranking when he retires

Trinidad probably was the weakest one of the last decade. JMM, if you ever had him there, also wasn't as good as the others.

Pound 4 pound is something you have to earn over time.... if FMJ never took those 2 yrs off, he would already be crowned fighter of the decade & Pac would never have reached no1 without FMJ losing (unlikely) but he would be right there behind him as a solid no2 & he was the best person to have took that spot, he has earned it even tho he got it thru default.

u referring to both pbf and pacman, right?

coz both of 'em have fought at catchweights...

pacman fought at a catchweight only once and that was against cotto at 145lbs.

while pbf fought a small man in jmm at a catchweight of 144lbs and went in 2 lbs overweight, LOL!

pacman and odlh fought at a legitimate welterweight limit of 147lbs.:deal

You just put your foot in your mouth once again.

He has as many catchweight fights as fraud does:deal

And he didnt come in over the weight for his catchweight fight like your boy did.

    I agree on the P4P...

But the PBF stuff, That's Floyd's mistake & he alone dropped the ball by not facing the best his division had to offer during his crowned "P4P" run as a WW.
(Post Hatton he was the #1 bar none guy in boxing)

    & he walked away.

You can't just speculate Floyd would be fighter of the decade because you don't know if he would have come through the last two years unscathed. Even if he did, there is a very good possibility he would still not be #1 because of his refusal to fight top challengers in his weight class -- especially while guys like Cotto and Margarito were seen to be at the top of the pack.
