Is Manny taking this fight as serious as possible?

Reports from camps are as different as night and day. Pacquiao's camp is full of Roach or members of the Pacquiao camp talking trash and talking about how Manny looks good. While we do see Pac training, his morning workouts are full of bystanders and hangers-on. He has meet ups with celebrities who visit him. From a certain view-point it seems that Manny isn't as focused as he should be for this fight.

Meanwhile, Floyd's camp has been relatively silent, apart from the Judah report and a few barbs from Senior. Floyd has always been a hard worker, but it seems that the silence from him, as well as reports of doing well in sparring, means he has this extra focus for this fight. No doubt that he'll be in pristine fighting shape come fight night.

With that said, do you guys think Manny is too distracted or not as focused as he should be for this fight?

He's not focused. He might as well enjoy the time before the fight. It's like the last meal before he's executed.

you think after 5 years of build up, his people, his fans demanding he fight and beat floyd that manny is just going to sign to fight floyd and just go casual with training ?

What you don't seem to be able to comprehend is Manny is very happy he's at last going to get Floyd in the ring. He's spent 5 years trying..
Whereas Floyd has been forced into a fight he has never wanted.
He's got to put up or shut up. He's scared he cannot beat Manny.
If they ban Bayless from the arena & use 3 judges who are not Vegas mafia Manny could well kick Floyds butt

I want to believe that he's taking the fight seriously. But something just tells me that he's not being as focused as he possibly could be.

There was a recent article where Manny said, "Let's just fight and let God take care of everything else."

To me that says that he's not as hungry as he should be to win over Floyd. I want to see a competitive fight, but it takes two to tango.

It's less about training hard and more on the mindset, if you get what I'm saying. Sure, he can run lots of miles and spar a lot of rounds and do 1000+ situps, but if his mindset to win isn't fully there, then what's the point?

I do hope I'm wrong though. I'm just basing it on my observations and comparisons between camps.

It doesn't seem like it but that's mostly because of the media.

Pacquiao doesn't have the same psychology and killer instinct ever since he became a politician and a christian.

You can actually see it in his quotes. Before: "if you train hard, the fight is easy." Now: "Let us fight and let God decides who wins."

He is not a full time fighter now.

It'll be a good to excuse to have a rematch. Manny- "I was too caught up in the event, and not focused on my training."

i get where you are coming from but i believe thats just manny, he aient one for trash talking (and i feel the journos really try and get him to sometimes so he usually replies with something humble like you said). floyd has def stepped up his training, i think this is the only fight camp iv seen with him eating clean food

Floyd may be over training, there is still over 1 month to go. At this age, they have to watch out. Boxing is a very demanding sport where you can get an injury simply by throwing punches, jogging, sparring etc... every muscle, joint and bone is at risk every day...especially at 36 and 38. My biggest worry for this fight is one of them enters the ring with some lingering injury... boxing is very very demanding. Just trying hitting a bag for 30 minutes non-stop, this alone with have you hurting. Then add the running, abs workouts, weight lifting, sparring and the multitude of other exercises...

The biggest fight ever, the 2 top fighters of their generation in the fight of their lives and will probably be the last great performance of each fighters' career and you think that either is slacking?

If anything Pac has more weight on his shoulders than Money. Money has his 0, but Pac has his entire country.

That is why there are people like Ariza, Memo, Conte...... Pacquiao and Mayweather are known customers.
