In the "roaring twenty's" there was a tremendous lightweight southpaw Lew Tendler who if not for Benny Leonard would have been a champion.Rugged, strong and great left hook, and a Southpaw to boot...
good man burt......imagine al mccoy forever in the history books as first southpaw champion...and got to have something like 40 odd pro fights while being called middleweight champion of the world....and yet the far superior tendler never got to be champeen.
a great one, probably top ten and certainly the best in recent years . unless u r a kliturd and then its 38 year old failed retiree corrie sanders.
