You mean the same pac who lost to a shot erik Morales? Or the one who couldn't beat jmm clearly in 4 fights? Or the same pac who drew with Sanchez or was it the one who lost to Bradley? Which pac are we referring to? Because pbf beats all of those to. A shot pbf schooled pac let that sink in for a minute. What do you think a prime pbf would do to him?

Why would you let random people on message board affect your assessment of a boxer's greatness?

    GOAT? No.

But I would elevate him above Floyd despite losing to him. Floyd proved he's the better fighter, but the "greater" fighter is still up for grabs.

    Not for me, because

    1) I dont really believe in singular goats. I believe in goat tiers, or goat bubbles, if you will. And hes already pretty much in that tier, for me.

    2) His losses to Marquez, May and Horn still bug me too much. Marquez for getting KO'd like that. Mayweather because I feel May won too easy. And Horn because of Horns level.

Regardless... Pac is a genuine great, and legend of the sport.

That hes fighting someone like Spence, at this stage of his career and coming off a 2 year layoff is just insane.

    And probably unwise.

    When will Pacquaio fans understand..

PACQUAIO WILL FOREVER BE IN FLOYDS SHADOW.

    118-110

Pacquaio could move up 6 weights and beat AJ or Tyson Fury and it's always going to be 118-110.

Maybe...maybe so. He'd have to be ranked up there in Duran's neighborhood anyway, I'd think.

That said, I'm not sure such a thing can be decided immediately. It might need some years of perspective in order to place in context.

    It needs to marinate.

    No.

But it might move him up closer to the top 10.

Still I expect a narrative IF Manny beats Spence that will start:-

+ Spence was never HOF/ATG material
+ Spence was not the same after the crash

    etc etc

To put it bluntly, no, but people who's making a case for him being top 10 ATG suddenly will make more sense and the *****s claiming Floyd is higher than Pac in ATG rankings would look more stupid.
In terms of accomplishments tho, this will probably never be beaten. I don't see any other WW stay this long and beat top caliber fighters this late in their careers and couple that with the 5 lineal titles and 8 titles in different weight classes and that's a record for the ages. Similar to SRR's sheer number of fights or Armstrong's 3 concurrent titles from the original weight classes or JCC/Wilde's win streak.
