He just may be the greatest of all time.

    Titles in 8 Divisions.

Wins over Sure Fire Hall of Famers: Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, Marco Antonio Barrera(twice), Erik Morales(twice), Juan Manuel Marquez

Wins over guys who will probably get in: Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton.

Other good wins over Champs: Antonio Margarito, Lehlo Ledawaba, Oscar Larios, Joshua Clottey.

Hard to compete against that resume.

there are fighters who have wins over alot more HOF'ers than that and not just HOF'ers but actual elite all time great upper tier hall of famers.

Wouldn't being the greatest fighter mean that you can defeat everyone else? Just asking because there are hundreds of larger boxers right now who would definately beat him and possibly kill him in the ring.

Just cant get past that. Being the best in a weight range is great but being the best against anyone seems more important to me.

Pacquiao's resume is just incredible. Everybody needs to remember, he won his first at Flyweight. He was dominate at 122 up to 147. I think that is just unheard of in these times.

there is a big difference between "in these times" and "who ever lived"

IMO gotta go back to SRL to find a fighter better than Pac.

I think he has the potential to be! A movie will be made about him one day... He has to beat mayweather and maybe martinez.. then He will be one of the greats of all time!

I just feel top 10 ALL TIME is an incredibly elite club. people do tend to get ahead of themselves.

Remember Duran and SRl not so long ago... i would have both ahead of pacquiao in the all time standings.

He's up there no doubt about it...... It's great that he's so exciting too... Got a feeling that he's only going to fight so many more fights..... So I'm just going to enjoy him every time he fights now (don't care who it is)!

I think Floyd is great. No doubt about it. I know people here will diss him. But he is a brilliant fighter. The reason why Pac is better in a pound for pound sense is that he came from further and fought elite opposition in all classes. Floyd, while great, didn't test himself at opportune times.

The fact is Pacquiao is the greatest ever.

    Absolutely not.

He was defeated during his accepted "prime" years. Has not beaten a fellow champion of his own stature who hasn't been defeated in recent years and hasn't cleaned any division out.

His 8 titles are somewhat bogus because of that.
