Whatever *****... So Juan really beat him the 3rd time? And your counting the Bradley fight as a real win! Ur such a hater!
I remember after Hearns lost to Hagler they said his career was over as a big time fighter. He won another 2 titles in 1987. Then he lost to Barkley. People said he was finished and never would be a top fighter again. He beat Kinchen for the WBO 168 pound title and fought Ray and got a draw (should have been a win) and beat Virgil Hill for the WBA light heavyweight title. But the saying always goes, a guy is only as good as his last fight.
JMM's accomplishments are legit. He wasn't beating up old fighters, coming off consecutive losses/poor performances, or at catch-weights. He was fighting young hungry lions, and dominating them. And JMM has no asterisk regarding PED usage around his name. It was JMM who requested OSDT for his fights with manny. It was manny who rejected the OSDT. JMM did Floyd's OSDT no problem. JMM's the real Mccoy. His ATG status cemented. manny's isn't.
If Floyd fights tune ups (and I assume your memory doesn't go back to 2005; so everything since then), than Pacquiao has fought 5 tune ups in his last 6 fights. Clottey- tune up Margarito- whatever is less than a tune up Mosley- tune up JMM III- tune up Bradley- tune up JMM IV- what he was tuning up for; his most known/defining fight --- Sarcasm aside, a tune up is what JMM did with Likar Ramos and Sergei Fedchenko. Not Katsidis, not Diaz II. None of Mayweathers' opponents since 2005. None of Pacquiao's opponents since 2006, aside from Margarito.
JMM's team requested OSDT for fights III and IV with manny. manny and his hype-machine brigade rejected the OSDT. JMM also passed Floyd's OSDT fine. JMM is clean without a doubt. The same can't be said for manny. In fact manny is guilty until proven innocent. And that's a widely held consensus, not a personal opinion.
Hearns could actually box. He wasn't a 1-tooled fool who lunges in face-first against larger fighters. Also, Hearns wasn't using PED's. You can't compare Hearns ability to overcome defeat to manny's ability to, at best, be average. manny's a ****ing hack. I wouldn't hate so much if the media didn't glorify his hyppocritical/cheating ass
WRONG Floyd didn't start demanding OSDT until the Mosley fight. They didn't have the testing his fight with JMM. JMM didn't request OSDT against Manny. He said he would do it, Manny said no, and they agreed to fight without. Neither side "requested" it. As for JMM's resume, he is a HOF'er but not as strong as the Godly resume you try to make it out to be. I like JMM a lot, but I've got to type this out so you realize how much you've failed at boxrec'ing. Well, actually even if you boxrec'd you should've been able to figure this out: -Juan Diaz was coming off of an official loss, and in reality two, against Paulie after his previous defeat to JMM. -Barrera was "old" when he fought him. -Juarez was a "bum" (as you'd call him) when JMM fought him. -Between these fights, a few notables, and the Pac ones, he has wins over Jimrex Jaca and Victor Polo. -Terdsak Kokietgym is one of his ten best victories. He would not approach Pac's top 10. -Before he unified a title in '03, his best wins were Peden and Medina (coming off a loss).
Read my post. There was no OSDT for Mayweather vs. JMM, so shut up. And no, not innocent until proven guilty you schmuck. Shady? Yes. Chris John won. Watch the fight please. Won by multiple points. Casamayor was not prime, hahaha, you're reaching. Are you kidding? Back then even more professional athletes were on PED's, and most of them were on **** that would be deemed crude and barbaric by today's intense scientific means, such as straight anabolics. Steroids were in every pro locker room in the NFL as early as 1970. You think championship level boxers weren't?!?!?! If you weren't a hypocrite, "guilty until proven innocent."
Fine, you saw it one way, You saw my link showing there was no press row consensus at all, right? You also saw the Bradley link that shows a clear consensus? Hence making your comparison invalid.
Can't find the exact article but there's an article where JMM team requests OSDT for 3rd fight. manny/camp deny. http://www.examiner.com/article/marquez-requested-olympic-style-drug-testing-from-pacquiao Could've sworn Floyd/JMM did OSDT but can't find an article
I don't need to put down these wins (except prime Casa lmao), they're all good wins. Though if you really want me to, I'll oblige. But where would they place on Pac's resume? He beat the same MAB much more comfortably, and that win is hardly worth mentioning. If we're talking risk taken, would any of these guys have a chance against the worst Pac opponent since DLH (Mosley?) 2 of them would have been even money with Diaz.
