    This

He had Olympic pedigree, size, good power, to the extent there were a few serious threads saying Harrison would KO Haye

You won't find that with charr

Don't let his "unbeaten" record fool you

Your right Vidic......Fantana, in a non gay, gay, way was really spamming the board prior to the Haye bout.

and yes, a few HAYETERS, myself included were hoping Audley could capture glory in an OH left and expose Haye.

However, those hopes went out the window when he took his dive.:yep

Charr really is a textbook bum. a walking punching bag that occasionally ditches out some pitiful looping slaps. thats someone even Fraudley would be confident against. I know a 12 year old girl thats technically superior to Charr.

    :patsch

You haven't seen Charr fight have you????

As pathetic a fighter as Audley is... i still wouldn't bet against him against Charr.... Charr is painfully **** and has gift decisions against bums

Yeah, Ive watched his fights, and yeah he got a gift KO over Williams, but it woulda happened and Willaims woulda been hurt as his D had all but vanished.

Also, watch Harrison vs Adams. He's sadly past his best, and that was about as good as Charr is now.:hi:

Charr is knocking out top-rated contenders in brutal fashion. He's an animal and deserves his shot, take a look:

he'll proly perform better and actually try but no he's not a better fighter than Harrison or as accomplished which says a lot cause Harrison is pretty awful. Not to mention in England Harrison is a big name cause of his Olympic gold and domestic level championships so there were actually a few people calling for this fight that wanted to see it. NO ONE was calling for Vitali vs Charr and not even deluded casuals and nuthuggers can claim Charr has a name ANYWHERE!! This fight makes no sense as Charr is the not only the worst challenger skill wise that I've ever seen (sosnowskis pretty close in this department) but he has no name whatsoever, even a lot of harcore fans have never heard of him whereas every hardcore fan and all the casuals in England know of Harrison.

Interestingly Boxrec had Harrison on 223 points while Charr is on 224. Almost identical.

Charr would be comfortably dominated by Sprott.
Audley produced a devatating one-punch KO of Sprott.

That fact that this is even debatable just goes to show what a crap last fight it would be for Vitali after he complained for about a decade after Lewis beat him in his last fight.

As for Charr himself, I have no dislike for the person, but he is not and will never be world title challenger standard. At least Audley had a glimmer of talent beneath that terrified exterior, not mention it was a fight that people (read: Brits) could get interested in (albeit in a freakshow kind of way). Charr v Klitschko is totally unsellable beyond fans who just want to see Vitali in a ring, but it could be a part-time doorman for all they care.
