Charr is a legitimate bum, there is no denying that, and this is one of the shittiest title defences in the history of HW boxing.
If Vitali wants a going away party he should do it against a live contender or just retire. His sparring partners are going to be much better than Charr himself.

Agreed. Better to end his career on a high with a tough fought decision against a decent opponent like Chisora than ending it on this farce of a fight. If he fights on he should at least face a decent opponent.

Actually saw Charr myself, We have an RBR for his fight with Sykes somewhere on this board because I remember the mods combined the RBR I started for the part IB couldn't get with his, and I lost most of it :twisted:.

Yea Charr is decent, In this heavyweight era he is actually in the top 20 IMO.

Vitali JUST fought Chisora coming off his win to Helenius putting him in the top 5 and Adamek also in the top 5, He already beat Arreola also, Chambers just fought so who else is there?????

Explain smart guys? Who is he to fight? All I can think of is Pulev, Who you guys prolly don't even know. Povetkin? Sorry he has a fight with Old man Rahman set, Mandatory defense so he'd loose his plastic belt if he didn't do it, which is his only playing chip. Helenius? Nope Helenius is injured. Chageav? Sorry Chageav is fading and just lost to Povetkin in a hard fought but clear decision.

All I can say is pretty weak but still decent goodbye opponent for Vitali.

 

he is pretty much in line with 90% of the people Vitali has beaten.

HW Adamek, Chisora (considering he is basically a novice), Kirk Johnson, Arroela, Peters, Snonwski, Solis.... they are all junk, so why are we surprised when we see Charr as the next one on the list?

Vitali has tried to mix it up with good fighters, but both of them beat him so he retired and waited it out.

 

Sosnowski maybe but most of them guys were top opponents ATM. I swear the hate Vitali gets, Not a real fan myself but he's a nice guy who fights most of the top guys of his era, He gets a little over hated.

 

They were not top opponents, some of them were not even in shape.

I like Vitali, I love his style in the ring and he seems like a cool cat out of the ring.

But I *know* that he has never proven himself to be an ATG - and the fact that so many of his fans on here (who for some reason do not appear to support another boxer apart from Wlad) think he is a top 10 ATG HW makes me feel the need to highlight what a farce some of his fights have been.

Also can't stand that some of his fans seem to think the Lewis figh was anything but a clear win for a faded Lewis. These are peole who like Vitali more than they like boxing but still...
