I like Rocky Marciano. But I encapsulate his career in a category of its own where he made the very best of his time in the sport with what he had to work with. There are some beach’s from other eras whom I would pick him to beat and others I would not. So in short, no... I don’t believe his head to head abilities place him at number one.
You can make a solid argument for this during his time or prior to that, but looks like the creator of this thread has been living under a rock since Marciano retired
