He said early this year that this would likely be one of the last years in boxing. He fought Jose Arias (17-2-0) in Feb. and won by KO in round 2. Where'd he go? I would like to see him a few more times. Not against huge names but just a few more times. But I haven't heard nothing of him since Feb. What is going on?

Imagine if he fights Rios on the Pac-Marquez undercard and pulls a Morales. That would be ****ing epic.

it would be i think he could frustrate rios with the jab and move type stuff he was doing to the end of his 130 days

I believe he's effectively retired... he would probably only come back again for some outstanding type of event. I would just as soon he stays on the shelf, Marco has options.

It would be too hard to watch while keeping that small glimmer of hope alive.

More than likely it would just be carnage.

You're not alone. There are many MAB haters (mostly holdovers from the bitter rivalry between Morales and Barrera, and between their fans bases...although there are plenty who are able to love them both...)

MAB also gets hate from the gritty type guys, the guys who worship guys like Aaron Pryor. He's considered an upper class type of guy so the scrubs don't like him.

If anything I hope Morales-Barrera 4. Or someone non-world class fighter, Barrera is not in the shape to fight BamBam Rios. ( common sense )

He is working as a trainer, his boy bad boy Rosas won the Mexican version of the contender tv show, and this guy has talent so maybe he is focusing in that right now, but if irc he said a few weeks ago that he (barrera) had a schedule fight for this year.
