Is Margarito ducking Paul Williams?

I don't think that's the case at all.

 

They already fought eachother, and both have a title. So there is no ducking. However, Top Rank is avoiding another fight between the two.

 

Well with everything ive been reading bout these two it seems that Margarito was pretty pissed that he lost to Williams and blamed it on not starting early enough so he decided to rematch quickly. Williams camp didnt respond soon enough so they parted ways. Now that Margarito won his best fight and is worth more than williams...Williams came back and offered Margarito a fight and Margos camp doesnt want to sign this time, now they are saying **** you man. I think its a smart move on Margos camp since ive seen Margo in several boxing matches all over and I dont think is focused and devoted right now after defeating Cotto and becoming a celeb in mex over night. This fight has got to happen 09 for sure and it will trust me.

 

Too early to go that far just yet. If this fight doesn't happen in say...the next 2 years, then your case becomes much stronger. I'd rather see this fight sooner than later, but maybe we have to be a little patient.

Margarito by UD or late TKO.

 

Clearly he is ducking him. The offer is for next year and Margarito is recovering from the brutal fight with Cotto which takes time. Also Margarito said on Telefutra a few weeks back he was willing to fight him again. STOP BEING A ***** MARGARITO

 

I really hopes he does sit on his punches and stops hugging Margarito like his ***** :yep. Sorry man Williams doesnt have the power to stop Margo but yet Margo does.

 

You believe that lie camp margarito put out:rofl:rofl:rofl Every Margarito fan is bitting on that gimmick excuse. Williams offered Margarito the rematch when Cintron pulled out of the Williams fight in feb. And was calling for the winner of Cotto Margarito before the fight. Margarito just simply dont want the fight. Stop makin excuses for it. Margarito is making a mockery of his own gimmick. "most avoided"

 

Margarito will fight Williams. He is making the smart business decision to fight him after he fights cotto again. Cotto is an easier fight for Margarito. Margarito even said that before his first fight with williams. Having said that he will fight Williams when the time is right. I would say late 2009. As a champion he is not acting like one. He should go for williams immediatley but from a business prospective i understand why he is waiting.

 

paul williams trainer said it perfectly in the post fight interview

"we can only do so much, after a while its going to be up to the fighters... theyll either have to join the girl scouts or fight paul williams.. so time will tell"
