Call me an ******* but I am in the group of people that don't really care about his wraps as much as some do. Let's say he did cheat on purpose for arguments sake, to me it has dropped his reputation and won't really consider him one of the best of his era if he felt insecure enough to cheat. With that said he was never caught cheating in previous fights and I don't think it was the only reason he beat Cotto (even if he had illegal wraps) he still landed a **** load of punches on him. Even light hitting fighters can cut up and swell Cotto's face if they land enough.

 

There were countless vicious body shots landed on Miguel in that fight and not a single report of broken ribs in that fight and you would think one would at the very least would have cracked.

 

History often remembers those who took the easy way out in a much more vicious fashion. I wonder if that will be the case here

 

Time will tell somehow I get the feeling your going to be upset about the way history writes this....

Yet Kiezer of NSAC states Margarito was clean for the Cotto fight and they disregard that **** all together, and they are the ones to say Nevada is the best commission to date again they pick and choose what they want to believe and what they choose not to believe

Not for me.. Margarito is a mexican badass who took Hotto's virginity and had all the crybaby ricans make all kinds of excuses as to why their man lost...

Ricans wanna believe that Margarito was plastered cuz it makes them feel better..

BUt truth is, COtto is Margarito's ***** for life ..

 

Anyone who cheats, or even attempts to cheat, like Margo did is a total scumbag IMO.

But can there be any certainty as to if and when he cheated in other fights?

On one hand, it doesn't seem reasonable that he would suddenly decide to cheat against a big underdog like Mosley, after coming off an even bigger win over Cotto.

On the other hand, it seems just as unreasonable that he could've gotten away with plastering his hands in fight after fight, in front of different commissions and opposing cornermen, without being caught beforehand.

In the end, there are more questions than answers IMO.

Antonio Margarito kicked Cotto's ass & made him kneel before him & QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is what sticks in Cotto fans craw. All this bullcrap was started by a lieing POS Nazim Richardson. He claimed plastic inserts fell out of Margarito's wraps, then he changed it to plaster casts fell out
All that was actually found in the wraps were HARMLESS used gauze pads which were technically illegal as the pads should have been new. Hardly an attempt at Loading his gloves HUH ???????. After extensive testing trace elements of calcium & sulpher were discoverd.
As calcium & sulpher are ingredients of plaster of paris the allegations were made even though they are also ingredients of human sweat.
When it all boils down it is obvious that Richardson was merely causing disruption to get into Margarito head & distract him. The bunch of clowns known as the CSAC ran with it & let it get totally out of control. This ended up in a ridiculous 2 yr ban for Margarito who had done nothing wrong.
Incidently while all this Fracas was going on did Shane Mosely ever take a drug test??? I dont think he could have or that might explain what boundless energy Mosely had he was like superman on kryptonite . His fights before & after the Margarito fight show a very different Mosely. If anyone cheated in that fight it certainly was not Tony Margarito
