Is Margarito The Only Man Who Can Beat Cotto?

No. I can list some guys who can beat him.

Paul Williams, Josh Clottey.

 

I think he'd beat Clottey, but a fight vs. Williams is a 50-50 fight.

 

I think Clottey would stand in front of him and counter him all nite. Clottey has great defense & can counter pretty good

 

If he stand in front, he'll get hit way too many times, good defense or not. Clottey has his lulls in fights as well.

 

Not to sound like a Cotto hater, but I think outside of Berto, Hatton and Collazo, the rest of the guys on this list can beat Cotto.

 

Mayweather beats him.

Margarito beats him.

Williams probably beats him.

Clottey might be able to beat him.

 

He doesnt nearly have the workrate that Margo has so Cotto would outbox him all night...

The only two in my mind is PW and Margo...theyre just the biggest size freaks in the division

Cotto's skillset is totally underestimated time and time again...

The only thing that gave Margo his win was his chin...otherwise he was outboxed and outclassed in pretty much every aspect

Although i would tip Cotto on work rate Oscar isn't exactly an easy fight for anyone even at this point. Good jab, decent pop and very tough.
