im not sure there's a BIG difference...but certainly a CLEAR difference

you cannot demonstrate workrate without being a pressure fighter

a chin :huh :rofl  :-(

He's been down FAR TOO MANY TIMES! to be touted to have a chin...Once or twice and you have a questionable chin...to have a GOOD chin, you can only go down maybe once or never in your career.

And as far as defense goes...he has none...he DOES have awkward movement, but as far as legitimate defense he DOES NOT!

    His defense is his offense

    Paul Williams could.

Margarito will likely win the rematch. But we'll see.

Other than that no. Clottey is not busy enough. Berto is way too green and Cotto would shake him bad.

Sorry, but in boxing, all you have to do is get up before 10 when you go down. That goes for any fighter. Does Tito have a chin? Does Dlh have a chin? Both were stopped once by Hopkins who was a middleweight. Your opinion on chin and defense is suspect. Saying Cal has no defense, and he is undefeated sounds flat out dubious lol. Calzaghe can be as awkward as you want him to be, but he is right there in front of you daring you to throw your best so he can counter you. He makes you miss, and when he goes down, he gets up.

true. but you can known as a pressure fighter without a high workrate.

its just you said, "some call it workrate some call it pressure" as if its the same sh*t. anyway, i know you know the difference but i doubt not many do..

okay...before we continue this discussion and I embarass you about what the **** your talking about

we will use YOUR definition of what a Good CHIN is...

What you just described is good recovery rate...NOT CHIN!

Tito had a suspect chin, he's been down a few times himself, but had great recovery and came back stronger...

DLH has a good chin, but weak body...DLH has been down ONCE from a headshot and i think it was partially from being unbalanced (my memory of the KD is vague) but it was a fluke incident and hasnt happened since

Marg, Williams & Oscar could all beat Cotto on any given night. But with that saying I think Cotto turns the tables on Marg in the rematch & will out point him.

**** this im bored so ill just breakdown this stupid reponse...

This CLEARLY! isnt the ****in' definition of having a good chin...the point of having a good chin is the ability to take POWERFUL shots and be unphased by such blows...so being taken down a number of times clearly shows you DO NOT HAVE A CHIN! JC has GREAT recovery rate and heart to raise the volume after being KD, but a chin?

What you are describing here are offensive tactics...Mayweather has defense...Winky right has defense...B-Hop has defense

That wanna-be RJJ **** IS NOT defense, but merely tricky offensive maneuevers...

Like I said before....HIS OFFENSE IS HIS DEFENSE!

First off, I take back the "dumb" comment in my post. I had edited my post but I guess you were quoting my post already:good. As for the rest of your post, either you have a chin or you don't. This is one of the oldest adages in boxing. You either have a chin or you don't in boxing. Recovery rate equates to chin. Did Ali have a great chin? He was down a few times early in his career lol.

DLH has a good chin, but he's been down more than once. He's been down 4 times from shots to the head/chin.

The Whitaker one was more balance though.

Marvin Hagler is a great example of a chin. Thomas Hearns isn't.
