Varg it may come as surprise but I'm a cotto fan also. Crush me to watch him lose to Marg but I think he can turn the table on him. As Williams showed & 4 others Marg is far from unbeatable.
With Oscar I just can't see why all the neg on his as a fighter. He has been in some memorable fights for boxing & yes some stinkers as well but he's been nothing but great for boxing. Luv him or hate him for whatever reason, but don't diss the mans fighting ability. And as you said yourself in a recent post not many have tagged him & tested the chin, there's a reason for that, its called boxing skill.

    Wow...did i just read that...:rofl :patsch :-(

NO ****IN' **** DUMBASS! Hopkins was A ****IN' MW!

DLH hasnt fought a legitimate WW since Mosley...and lost both times

But judging from his recent fight WITH 2 LB STEVIE FORBES...Cotto would take DLH out within 10 rds

Have you watched his recent sparring vids? My god...he's taking shots that are TOTALLY avoidable...

fact is...DLH MIGHT have given him a run for his money 5 or 6 years ago...but he's ****in old now and his "pop" wont carry him through the fight...he hardly throws anything anymore...his flurries are FAR FROM ACCURATE!

seriously...he would just go down before 10

Those 2 stand the biggest if not a definite chance of victory

Clottey stands a chance but id say the edge goes more to Cotto...i give Clottey a 40% chance...

the OP said who stands a greater shot than 50/50

Im not the "DUMBASS!" who made the ridiculous comparison, moron.

De La Hoya from 5 or 6 years ago "MIGHT have"? He would have beat him up bad. I am a Cotto fan and find it difficult to rewatch the Margo fight, but you are kidding yourself. Cotto was nearly stopped by B+ 140 pounders, and you think Oscar from the early 2000's would struggle with him? I don't think so.

Oscar would give Cotto a competitive fight now, he would have stopped him anywhere near his prime. Cotto isn't durable enough to fight any A level welter with pop.

You may as well go dig a whole outside and bury yourself. Your a massive hipocrit, your statements all contradict eachother. You admit Cotto has a very questionable chin, yet bring up Oscar's allegedly suspect chin as though its a huge factor in the fight. Baffling.

    Thats cool man...:good

I hate him not for his boxing ability, but for for his recent questionable opposition...i hate the business first fighter second mentality...its ruining boxing...

no ones tagged him because he fights bums...and when he fights quality he loses...

Chavez was already at his 100th fight...wtf?! really??!!...that's not an accomplishment...Chavez had seen too many wars at that point...the man was twilight

Vargas was far too green when they clashed...

Ike Quartey was one of his FEW real achievements that left me thinking...hmm...i might keep an eye on this guy

Whitiker was on the ending years when they fought...

I'll give him the Trinidad victory too...but cmon man...wtf in your mind says you just STOP boxing after 7 rounds?

He's constantly being a safety first fighter and it bugs the **** out of me...:bart

Once the Golden left hook lands on Cottos shaky chin then its all over. Cotto is good but is very hittable.
Plus PBF will only deliver a Hatton/Gatti like beating. No doubt about it.

Actually...you could be right...if you took prime for prime and made the weight at 147...DLH has a good chance...and definitely qualifies as a candidate for a HIGH chance of winning...im being blinded by my hate towards him and yes you're right

I stand corrected...but i still don't think it's a shoe-in victory for him either...Cotto demonstrated serious heart in numerous fights...Margo was just too much...

But to say he doesnt stand a chance against any top A level WW...is too quick a conclusion...he hasnt really fought much at 147 yet...he fights AM and loses brutally...but that doesnt mean its the same fate for every other fighter he fights...im not saying he'd beat them down, but his chances stand stronger than most people give him credit for...

The whole argument on Chin was brought on by Nallege...as we were referring to JC...it had nothing to do with DLH or Cotto...

Paul Williams, Oscar De La Hoya, and Mosley could beat him.

I'm not saying this is how I see it, but in actuality it's Hatton that has the greatest stylistic advantage of anyone on this list. He's just the least physically imposing because of his size and track record at 147.
