'Seen' this while reading an article on Pavlik elsewhere.

"he busted up Antonio Margarito’s right eye beyond repair in their grudge rematch"

Or was the author just spewing out copy?

I haven't heard anything about this so I doubt it, the eye wasn't that bad in the fight anyway

    His eye is screwed...

He can still overpower weaker less skilled opponents intill he retires..

But he is only ever gonna go down. not up.

I was just wondering if I had missed something. Still, there could be some back room chatter going on between insiders that hasn't been made public yet because it isn't firm enough to attribute a source too. Not that lack of a source would stop a lot of these so called boxing writers.

His eye aint screwed I just felt he took the Cotto fight too soon, he had no business fighting that year, the eye obviously was just healing, and should have been given at least six more months to heal

Tony was done the minute he got caught with wraps. He has done nothing since then.

Beat me to it. One of the biggest frauds in recent boxing history.

I was surprised they let him face Cotto after what Pac did to his eye.. I'd be really surprised if he continues to fight, but then again this is boxing... I'd say he shouldn't for his health, even if he's not concerned himself. But money talks, and people can be paid off to allow it.

To ever achieve anything he needs to change his style, as even boxers worse than him can hit him, aim for the eye and your pretty much certain to win unless he ko's you fast enough.

Putting aside my personal feelings for him. I think he needs a good win a unexpected win to be back in contention.

However he isn't a throw back fighter like Joe Fraizer who can fight with a damaged eye, so I think anyone who he fights who is remotely elite will close that eye up EVERYTIME.

Bob being Bob will keep putting him in with good competition most likely....I wouldnt be suprised to see him in with Chavez Jr soon.

After they took the concrete out of his gloves and ass he was no longer able to call-out, compete and lose to smaller opponents.

So yes, he's done. The only bad thing is he's not permanently blind. No sane person should have sympathy for a blatant liar and cheater like this scrub.
