4 fights in 8 years at multiple divisions with a concussive ending.

that's 27 rounds to 15 plus one huge KO.

JMM is greater than Pac and also is ahead of MAB and Morales in my book.

four times lol! JMM was even lucky to get a draw on the first because of a scoring error. 2 was close, but 3 was decisive in favor of pac. in the fourth pac was winning the rounds contrary to what you hoped, until that ko.

Better than Pacquiao? No, Pacquiao had feats that Marquez can't accomplish at the present time (age). Pacquiao took on De La Hoya, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and so forth. That's pretty damn impressive coming from a 'smaller' guy. Despite the incredible win and Marquez being a personal favorite of mine, he isn't greater than Pacquiao. Barrera and Morales? I believe so.

That "smaller guy" angle is something for some of you to hold on to.

All those names you mentioned were either shot or taylor-made for Pac.

JMM beat Pac once, lost to him twice and drew with him once. JMM is a very good fighter but he is not better then Pacquaio, Barrera and Morales.

    Pac by a mile.

Ponder this for a second: Marquez versus De La Hoya, Margarito, Clottey, and Cotto at welterweight.

Think he takes all four easily (as Pac did)? Even the recent hulk-like version of Marquez?

Theres a reason he never did that in their primes.

Argue that all you want, but its the truth.

And when discussing these 4, one win h2h isnt the say all.

Its not hard to realise these 4 are hard to split.

Though I am starting to lean towards two groups..... JMM/Pac > Mab/Morales

sucks because I like morales the most out of them all.... but thats the way Im starting to see it.

But JMM needs to do more then just beat Pac in his career. Thats what holds him back... hes a great fighter but his entire mission in life has been to beat Pac. Something Morales was able to do in Pacs prime. And outside of that, hes got the Salido win, and the Diaz wins and a few other noteworthy fights but it starts to dim a little.

Idk, I just think these are hard fighters to seperate.

Pac acheived the most and beat all 3 of them. Although Marquez is the best of the Mexicans, although it's all very close.
