    Who?

Sorry but until Golovkin makes a name for himself state side Martinez cannot be accused of ducking him, especially not with the crap Golovkin has been facing.

Martinez avoids the tougher 160 pound top contenders while using lower tier 160 pound guys like Macklin, and that other stiff from the isles as tune ups that have given him more than he bargained for.

The only people who could reasonably be accused of ducking Golovkin are Sturm and N'Jikam. He hasn't done nearly enough in terms of both resume and name-building to accuse guys outside of his sanctioning body mess of ducking.

Golovkin I think is behind Sergio as the #2 MW. Wouldnt mind seeing him vs a Barker or Macklin. If the people demand it and these 2 want to unify in the future it can happen. Having a unified champion will attract fighters from the surrounding divisions.

Golovkin KO's a tough can and the MW champ is all of a sudden ducking him? I swear boxing fans are some of the worst people in sports.

    No. Just not.

When Golovkin shows that he's definitively even the number two guy at Middleweight, then we can talk about Martinez ducking him. Golovkin hasn't fought anyone as good as even Darren Barker. The biggest win of Golovkin's career has been against shot Kassim Ouma. Golovkin needs to either get a win over one of the other champions(like Sturm) and/or fight someone credible like Macklin and impress.

Yes, and no. . . He knows it would be about the hardest stylistic match for him at 160, but at the same time, Golovkin really hasn't done enough to earn the shot from a "name" standpoint, nor "credibility" standpoint. . .
