If it wasn't clear to you that Mayweather is too small for middleweight, it should be now after his recent bout against Cotto. Should Martinez go back down to 154 and beat 1 or 2 names? There's no sense in pleading for a Mayweather fight if he's convinced Sergio is either too big or would be dead drained at 154.

No he is the king of middleweights. Floyd would find a way to avoid him anyway at jr middle.

Martinez should move down and try and get a fight with one of the top guys at 154 and press the issue.

Calling for a fight while fighting eurobums at 160 is not the way to go.

I'm not American. But I'd love to see him fight Chavez, Pirog, or Golovkin instead of trying to fight the little guys at 150 catchweights.

Who did Mayweather fight to EARN a shot at Cotto?

Damn, you just talk straight jibberish.

    STFU.

    This is the best FIGHT.

THE BEST SHOULD FIGHT THE BEST. Why don't you want to see the BEST fight the BEST.

Who do you think Mayweather should fight?

First you have a go at him for fighting the top contenders then you have a go at him for fighting other guys at catchweights :patsch

    What an idiot you are

Why you want to see him knock Cotto the **** out?

    Hasn't Cotto taken enough punishment?

I agree but Macklin is far from a bum, he beat Sturm. Well he got a bad decision. I would rate Sturm above all those guys, especially Chavez Jr, who Sergio will eventually fight.

I really don't think Mayweather wants to fight with 10oz gloves again

    A) Fighting Cotto wasn't the fight Mayweather originally wanted.

    B) The fight with Cotto wasn't about JMW supremecy, it was about fighting one of the other fighters people have been calling out for years for you to fight (a former stable mate) and picking up a JMW title @ the same time.

    C) Mayweather was never going to seriously campaign @ JMW. :patsch

Mayweather has been earning his keep since 1998. And moved up in weight to do so. He's a small welterweight and a TINY junior middleweight.

Why won't Martinez move up and earn his shots at the best fighters? Ward called him out. ****, Martinez wouldn't even get into the Hall of Fame if he retired tomorrow.
