I doubt Mayweather would fight him, but if Sergio did do it. Just make sure its atleast at 154.

You guys are hoping more so then believing. Mayweather or Pac for that matter hand speed and quickness will cause MAJOR problems for Martinez. He is used to being the better athlete in the ring with the hand speed. He will get beat to the punch and slipped.

If anything, he might have not bothered to train hard for this fight since Barker was an unknown from Europe

Barker on the other hand would have most likely been training like a mad man since it's the chance of a lifetime

I believe his team told him to take it easy get rounds in and up the ante late in the fight, which he did.

Gave him a chance to showcase skills but not look overly impressive even if it was against limited opposition.

Mayweathr and manny are more likely to take this fight now.

Martinez is not that hard to hit honestly. I thought Williams gave him problems because he can take a punch and throws so much and is so big he's a real handful. But Martinez can be caught and the way he lowers his hands, with a guy as fast as Pac or Floyd, he ain't gonna be getting away.

bingo. find a no name, euro fighter, with not enough power, but a tough style to look good vs and to really open up against, look "bad" to all the other middleweights, get the fights raking in with the previously uninterested middleweights,be up for those fights and win big!.

    sergio is a frickin genius!.

I was thinking the same thing. He probably didn't plan on getting his nose broken. But it really really wouldn't shock me if it was deliberate to not take it out of fourth gear, at least until the last third of the fight.
